  1. WMYT cut back to one run of Schitt’s to make room for its run of Young Sheldon and I don’t think they are airing the episodes in order anymore. It is not needed in syndication since it is on Netflix and only has five seasons. FTS got that for WMYT before Nexstar bought the station.
  2. Setting my DVR now.
  3. True, but, Fox Television Stations did that, not Nexstar. The station has been making progress under Nexstar.
  4. If the ratings plummet, that’s when you can fairly say Nexstar has destroyed the station, but give it a chance.
  5. https://www.facebook.com/100044240268677/posts/459305952220743/?d=n
  6. 25 Words Or Less, You Bet Your Life, Dish Nation and Divorce Court renewed another year.
  7. Sounds like the new show might not necessarily directly replace the old one. But I could be wrong.
  8. What would they put at 7? A newscast? Would they get Inside Edition from WXIA?
  9. WNCN says hi (finally pulled it a year or so ago for My Carolina Talk).
  10. I think they could move The Real to 11am and put another double run of Judge Judy in the afternoon.
  11. In the case of Charlotte, it is on at 2pm on WMYT
  12. Dr. Oz running for Senate, will this mean the end of his talk show? It recently got extended through 2023 so as T-Dog Media speculated, they could have someone take it over for next year.
  13. That and there would have been a lot of preemptions of Wheel in October due to the World Series, and also all fall due to Thursday Night Football. The World Series would still be an issue but at least now TNF will be on Amazon. Most markets there would be a sister station to move it to though.
  14. I don’t understand it either. Maybe it’s just a Houston thing because KHOU only airs Jeopardy.
  15. Wheel may not even be on KHOU next depending on what happens to the station regardless of whether or not they report to Soo Kim or Byron Allen next fall That would also affect WCNC and WFMY…can’t see WSOC giving up Entertainment Tonight, and can’t see Gray paying for it for WBTV…so I guess it would go to WJZY in Charlotte. Maybe it ends up on WXLV or WGHP in the Triad…
  16. I wish I had the power to change that. I would add a daytime version to pair with Daytime Jeopardy.
  17. Chandler Morgan leaving WBTV for WJAX/WFOX Step down in market but it’s a promotion, she will be the weekday morning anchor at Action News Jax.
  18. Meteorologist Kate Garner, formerly of WBTV, leaving WGHP
  19. I could see Nick Cannon taking over next fall. Would be easier to plan switching stations and all that. Not so much immediately.
  20. WMYT ended up airing that episode of YS Sunday night at midnight. Someone must’ve seen this post.
  21. WJZY will be moving up Young Sheldon and Big Bang Theory to 1 and 1:30 in TMZ Live’s spot. (Except reversing the two shows). In the past they have done the same thing with TMZ in place of YS at 2:30. (BBT at 2). Which actually sort of justifies the extra run of TMZ Live on WMYT at 3 (though WJZY could air it in late night). WJZY did air BBT at 1 despite the guide saying TMZ Live. I recorded to get YS. However instead of airing YS they joined TMZ Live in progress at 1:30! Oh and according to zap2it, because of TNF WJZY and WMYT both aired the same episode of TMZ at 1am Friday morning because of TNF. The second runs of YBYL and 25WOL didn’t air.
  22. According to the Katz spreadsheet, Schitts Creek is the only other weekday syndicated strip produced by Debmar-Mercury. A lot of Fox O&O’s and their duopoly partners already have both Nick and Schitts even though some stations like WMYT have cut Schitts down to one episode per weekday. That might work.
