  1. And Denise Dufala will be at WKYC in 3...2...
  2. I seriously don't know why WOIO doesn't go on WUAB 43.3 for those outside of WOIO's range. Move Grit to 19.3 and then run 43.3 in 720p (or even 1080i if possible).
  3. No, that's worse. They can't. I doubt WOIO is worth much as a VHF.
  4. If Raycom were to sell/trade WOIO/WUAB, who would want it? Only taker I could see is Nexstar but only if Nexstar is willing to give up WKRN and WKRG/WFNA to Raycom in exchange.
  5. WeHaveTheBestDamnBandIntheland.com
  6. The moment that Action News was canned at WOIO/WUAB was the death knell of any competitive spirit at Reserve Square. Raycom was really hands-off when Applegate was there but soon as he retired, WOIO/WUAB was going to suffer being an oblivious Raycom station.
  7. Uh, KSDK isn't struggling. It's not as dominant as it once was but it's still a factor in ratings vs. KMOV and KTVI.
  8. Only way I see Robin Swoboda coming back is if she is given a salary similar to Romona's. Otherwise, she's not joining the "Reserve Square Horror Show".
  9. Hello, WKBN Local 27 First News and myvalleymatters.com.
  10. Tonight, Pelley's in Washington, for some odd reason. Color me impressed, you can NEVER get him out when there's a major event.
  11. True but the majority of the viewership is on channel 4, so most people will have to tune to 54 at around 6:58 or 6:59 to watch the whole show.
  12. Nexstar has taken ownership earlier this year.
  13. Exactly! The amount of news that is shown in the Mobile market is overkill. Does Mobile really need a 6:30pm newscast?
  14. Hell by then, Sinclair might just show chimps flinging poo on WNWO, because all the technical difficulties caused NBC24 to give up on a news department but they still want to be live, local, and late-breaking. Sinclair puts a camera in the chimp enclosure at the Toledo Zoo, problem solved. Chimps don't have a union, no sick days, and best of all, NO PAYROLL.
  15. And at least it's still going to be taped in Toledo. All the Heathens are doing is transferring the control room to WSBT. Most of the news personnel will be based in Toledo.
  16. I know. That's why I said Raycom or Gray should buy the intellectual rights to WNWO, meaning that they transfer "NBC24" to either 11.4 or 13.4 and WNWO goes to HSH.
  17. Or better yet, sell the NBC 24 intellectual rights to either Gray or Raycom and end this charade.
  18. Any bets that Scripps will hire someone that has a digital fetish? Also, will anyone place bets on when KMGH FINALLY falls behind KWGN in the ratings?
  19. I wouldn't be surprised if WFMY, KOTV, and KUTV all get in line next year and run CBS This Morning 7-9. However, I could see WFMY running a 9am hour of GMS. KOTV and KUTV? Maybe, if they're willing to keep Let's Make a Deal at 2.
  20. Will WUPL carry "Eyewitness Morning News" from 7-9am? Or will it be canned altogether?
  21. And the award for cheapest logo goes to...
  22. I'm actually impressed that WGBA got the Scripps V2 graphics. As far as "Storm Shield" for branding, KILL IT WITH FIRE!!!!!
