  1. WCVB can survive without ABC. The question is if ABC could theoretically survive without WCVB/WMUR.
  2. I think Raycom might buy Meredith and revamp WGCL, but then I think "Atlanta 46".
  3. How? Nexstar is seriously hitting the cap, with or without the UHF discount.
  4. At least Sinclair is using the two-met format in the case of fatigue. On a side note, why does WJLA need three anchors (two on the main desk and one on breaking news)? It's a really bad gimmick.
  5. If this Red Seat Ventures comes to Cleveland, I expect WKYC's ratings to plummet. Not down to having to slum with WEWS or WOIO, but enough to make WJW absolute in the ratings until S*nclair (or Nexstar) buys Cleveland's Own.
  6. As long as Tribune is willing to pay, CBS is staying put on WTTV.
  7. PDXproud.com BayAreaMatters.com MyValleyisProuderthanthePeacock.com
  8. Get ready for Buffalo 4 and BUF 23!
  9. WBNX is on Channel 30. Maybe they move to 28?
  10. So WUAB is going on WOIO's WEAKER signal on VHF 10?!? Why didn't Raycom turn in WOIO's VHF 10 signal and then go on WUAB's UHF 28 signal?
  11. WFMJ and the Vindicator are in seperate buildings.
  12. Why is everyone expecting Nexstar to give everyone an Arnold theme? Nexstar revamped KLAS and guess what? THEY'RE NOT USING AN ARNOLD THEME. Instead, they're using the 360 theme. For all we know, Nexstar might be, at best, a bastardized hybrid of new MG with Nexstar. We already know that they're going to cut, cut, cut.
  13. KWKT has a new open. I don't know if Nexstar actually went through with bringing the news department in-house but you will notice something different that I'm not going to say:
  14. And they're already "Localing". Good job, Nexstar.
  15. Well WKBN in their recent news intros have been claiming 1st IN EVERY TIMESLOT. To be fair, I would put it vs. WFMJ at neck-and-neck until Nexstar starts running the show at Sunset Blvd.
  16. Don't forget that WKYC will lose folks in Parma and a few other places in Cuyahoga County, even though most of the county is Spectrum.
  17. Or, in the case of WKBN/WYTV, myvalleymatters.com.
  18. If they roll out another package, it will probably be more of a refresh than an all-out new package.
