Not really a local retransmission issue but Spectrum has moved ALL Viacom channels to Gold or Digi Tier 2.

Corporate Mandate = Every station has to do it whether it fits the market or not.
Seriously, it's a miracle that WJAR is STILL number one in Providence.
When you have a piss-poor lead-in like Jeopardy reruns, of course the ratings are going to be crap. They could've put Family Feud in the 9am hour to lead-in to the CBS game shows and have Rachael Ray at 3pm. Problem solved!
Doesn't mean they can't use it for WWOR. However, making WWOR "its own thing" and reviving news from Secaucus might put FTS back in the good graces of the New Jersey politicians.
All this Sinclair-Tribune nonsense makes me yearn for the days when Nexstar-MG was happening and the worst I thought would be "Local 27 WKBN", epic cuts, and "myvalleyisproud.com." Say what you will about Nexstar, but at least they don't try to sway sides in a not-so-subtly way compared to GO Media*.
*New name I came up for Sinclair. the GO means "Grand Ole".
I wouldn't be surprised if a new "The Now" on WEWS gets moved to 7pm, with the old "Now" becoming "News 5 at 4" in order to take on "Fox 8 News at 4" and "Snoozefest 19 at 4*"
*Out of respect for the City of Cleveland and due to the fact that WOIO's newscasts are boring as s*it these days, from henceforth I suggest we refer to WOIO's branding as "Snoozefest 19".
I wouldn't be surprised if K45CX-D becomes KSTU-LD. All they have to do is place it on either a sub channel of KJZZ or KUTV, gut KSTU's news department like a fish, and presto! "Fox Utah"!
I don't think that WOIO has a social media disaster fest like KXTV or WTSP. It's a bland Raycom station that has a few social media stories, yes. However, it's nowhere near the disasters at WTSP or even KXTV.
