  1. Regardless, it's an improvement from their previous package
  2. Noticed WSYM is using the meteorologists from sister station WXMI in Grand Rapids until they get the news department up and going...
  3. Excuse me... modified version... whatever... I think they get the fricking idea
  4. Not sure if this should go here or the Graphics Knockoff thread... Hubbard's WDIO in Duluth has a very close resemblance to the KOIN graphics.... Slight tweaks but definitely the motions are there.... Weather graphics are definitely the KOIN variety
  5. so many incomplete packages... if you're going to change one aspect of the packages, change all the damn parts... old and new NEVER mix and looks tacky as hell
  6. I'm glad... Lansing is big enough for them to support.. no need for outsourcing the news from WILX... Excited to see how this turns out
  7. The one thing that bothers me, and is my Achilles heel with any graphics overhaul, is that WXMI STILL has some Tribune fonts in their weather segments... How hard is it to make sure that everything migrates over to the new graphics design?? It looks so tacky and awkward....
  8. WWMT got the new graphics along with their new set today WWMT NEWSCHANNEL 3 LIVE AT 6PM OPEN (08-27-2020).mp4
  9. And this morning they reverted back to tribune graphics
  10. I wasn't able to get the open...got the weather forecast segment... but I'm thinking this is a loose transition... 1) no time/temp bug during the newscast 2) lower thirds and news maps are new Scripps 2) the weather graphics are mixed between Tribune/Scripps 3) Using new Scripps music and Guardian
  11. WXMI is debuting the graphics tonight according to meteorologist Erik Kostrzewa Not sure if it's just the weather or the complete package... based on what I see, it's the whole kit n kaboodle
  12. WLNS in Lansing would look nice with these graphics..
  13. Don't hold your breath on WSYM... It's owned by Scripps, but ran by Gray's WILX
  14. WBNS is launching TEGNA website/mobile app next week... No mention on WTHR's site that I saw.. Here is the link
  15. No.. KNXV uses their black and yellow logo on opens
  16. actually 5 -- you forgot Fox stations WXMI & KSTU
  17. I'm surprised they kept the Raycom weather graphics
  18. That tagline is hideous... "On Air, Online, On MOBILE"... ick
  19. Go to the maps & radar section of the weather page... all the maps except the 7-day are tegna-fied
  20. I am assuming that WQAD is next to be TEGNA-fied... Looking on their website tonight, even though on air, they have Tribune graphics, most of the weather maps online are TEGNA-fied
  21. The only thing I'm not liking about the latest package/update is in the weather Upper 3rds... The Weather Logos aren't meshing well... especially those with that silvery border... looks out of place
  22. WATN now has the new Tegna layout... kept the same localmemphis.com address. Surprisingly they kept the logo in tact, just made it linear..
