    From KPRC-TV in Houston:

Inside Big 2 News (October 1978):

Big 2 News at Six (7/20/1979)

The car commercial in the second one before the news is voiced by Ernie Anderson!

KXTV in April 1992, this look probably just had been rolled out:

I can possibly assume this was the same company that did KRON’s and WOWT’s 2D graphics due to the former being in nearby San Francisco.

  2. By November 1982, KETV still had the old logo, along with “Newsbeat” and the recycled 1980 graphics:

However they do have a slide at the end for their meteorologists (Jim Flowers, Rob Dixon, Don Novak), which were later used for the 1983 graphics with the KSNW theme.

Also of note (not news): an ATARI commercial from KMART 😂😂😂

I'm gonna say the template KFOR had in the old building for their set may have lasted for nearly THREE decades AND it survived 4 different ownerships (Palmer, New York Times, Local TV, Tribune) among other things. Oh and it survived through 2 tornadoes (June 1998, May 2003)

KWTV had really slick graphics, that’s for sure.

Did you find it in the videos section?

Also, we should look for dates for when KOAT and KMBC started using the ring graphics.

Some sites don’t update as quick as their on air look. For example, WNYT kept its 1997-era logo on its website 3 months past their August 2004 refresh.
