KPHO (possibly KTVK) gets new graphics

Looks a whole lot like a knock-off (too many quirky differences to be the same package) of WFTV's look.

I'm inclined to think they at least bought the base WFTV look from Hothaus and modified it in-house. The L3 definitely looks faithful to WFTV's original but that ugly loop to the left throws everything off.

I see some elements of, or at least inspiration from, the previous KABC/KGO look too. That transition in the linked video is similar to one in that package, as is the vague halftone circle motif they have going in it.

Not sure when this happened, but KPHO has new graphics

The time/temp bug needs some adjustment with fonts being too small...

Currently don't have TV access so not sure if this pops up on 3TV/KTVK as well?

Looking at the 3TV stream, they're still using the old Belo graphics. Other than the orange bug, these graphics look very nice.

not a bad look. Just get rid of that stupid spinning phone L3 graphic on the left hand side and you're goo.

Is it so hard for both stations to debut graphics and new sets on the same day?

Color me impressed. I like the orange station logo, the tasteful flatness of it all, and that set is beautiful.

The repetitive phone animation in the L3 has got to go!

Yeah, I agree on that. I do understand that they've been doing a lot of shuffling around of their digital/mobile presence, but yeah.

It's kinda funny that KPHO's current and previous graphics packages were no longer being used by the commissioning station by the time KPHO adopted them.
