I wouldn’t expect it. The secondary control probably has hand me down equipment. I think I mentioned this before but TEGNA doesn’t have a wide variety of CG? Weren’t some of their previous graphics done on Tricasters? if you are using a tricaster for your main production switcher... which some of the really small markets might do... otherwise no... that control room can handle the current graphics fine... the new stuff can't be any more resource intensive... most cgs last a long time before they NEED to be replaced... Although I did say last week tat within a week at least one station would get the new graphics. I never expected it to be WTSP of all stations. TXCN is an abbreviation of Texas Cable News No it's the old Belo MC Hub. It was relatively new and they had just started operating multiple stations there when Gannett/TEGNA bought Belo. The morning show is still using the old graphics. During a commercial break on WWL this morning, they teased a "new" Eyewitness Morning News coming in April.
