I almost wonder if this is some kind of design proposal that is using WAVE’s branding.

I'm all for customizing a package, if it looks good and not "hacked" together. 

Sometimes all it takes is changing an accent color or two.

 

Of course, most of us on here have seen so many of these packs that you can tell when part of one is part of another, or if it's "ripped off" another.

The average viewer will not likely notice such things.

Looks like WAVE 3 launched their new VizRT graphics. With an orange and blue version of the Gray graphics. Gone is the great custom look they created.

Looking at some of the archives, looks like WWSB met Gray halfway with their new graphics. The intro looks freakish. I also wish they would do away with "Extreme". Such a bland theme really to use for news

It is. Can confirm WAVE has ditched their custom look of a year after the upgrade. Apparently there's still some customization with it (mainly weather it looks like), otherwise it's the standard Gray look. Don't think they're too happy about it.

I noticed that KXII finally updated the weather graphics to Gray's new style to match the newscasts graphics after using the previous graphics since 2015.
