TheRolyPoly 3539 Posted June 2 Posted June 2 I don't think any of us have ever seen Chris Kapostasy (now Jansing)'s final broadcast from WNYT. Thanks to YouTube, it has now been unearthed. 10 days from now (as of this post), it will be 28 years since she left WNYT for MSNBC (now MS NOW). But here's her final 11:00pm newscast from June 12th, 1998, commercials and all. She spent 17 years at WNYT, an amazing, wonderful run with the majority of that time with the now-late Ed Dague (RIP). Ed and Chris together would help make WNYT finally dethrone WRGB in the mid 90s and become the #1 news station in the Capital Region. This also comes two years into WNYT's tenure with Hubbard after being traded away (with WHEC-TV Rochester) by Viacom.
