Wow, looks like even for an SPC High Risk day and at least 7 active tornado warnings. TWC isn't going to do full overnight coverage. Todd Borek came in and did coverage from like 1am-1:30am ET, but right now, they're back to long-form. Their competitors at Fox Weather are no better. They dropped live coverage at 12am ET. They're just running automated weather maps ever since. Guess the days of overnight tornado coverage are over, across the board. Only hurricanes will keep the networks up all night from now on.

Just wondering, most of the Hearst stations I've seen seem to be using him and WBAL seems to have recently switched to using him as their main VO after having Bill Ratner for the longest time.

The 5:00 and 6:00 opens and talent rejoins for KBJR are absolutely beautiful. Personal opinion that KBJR's appearance fell way behind WDIO under their Quincy ownership... This brings them back!

I have to agree that both KBJR and WTVG were given great improvements from their previous graphics. The WTVG open looks fantastic while KBJR's use of GrayONE was fantastic. Now, it will be interesting to see how other Gray stations will look with GrayONE. -

They look REALLY good! Also, I LOVE the open for WTVG ! Not trying to be negative (sorry in advance?) but I am just keeping my fingers crossed that WOIO 19 doesn't use the WWBT red when they switch.... From past experiences, I have a bad feeling that they will. So much red. But the other colors are great on the other stations. WBJR did a fantastic job! -

I thought that it be Stadium since Jerry owns Stadium that he bought the stake from Sinclair for White Sox, Bulls, & Blackhawks. I didn't think that Standard General would buy the rights for the White Sox, Bulls & Blackhawks guessing that is coming from Soo Kim. -
And Wood TV got rid of The Grio on DT3 for Defy last Wed.

I knew that Beavers & WSU 10 games each on The CW was rumored a few months ago that The CW was getting their home games and Fox gets 3 games from both schools.

It's a great improvement for KBJR from the few minutes that I just watched online. They have not gone full GrayOne with the weather graphics yet, however. Looking forward to watching on TV at 5!

We don't need another Sinclair or Nexstar to run a cheap operation with a lot of reach. These employees are getting screwed with their severance and what quality they put out now could be further in question.

They only play each other once. The rest are for their remaining home games against other teams. They are not eligible for their championship game.

In reality, this wisp of a conference has a scheduling alliance with the Mountain West and will be eligible for their championship game. (Just making sure everybody's on the same page as to the actual contents of this TV package.)

You would have thought they would've wound it down like Legacy did when Gray was able to end the charade with them and after the Tegcoxpollo deal died, but I guess someone needs to keep WLNE off life support until Sinclair finagles the ABC affiliation onto a WJAR sub; might as well be them. And they've had more deals die than actually go through. And again, Chicago has another pointless sports channel move like when Fox wound down FSN Chicago, and with no full guarantee of carriage like NBCSN offered via Comcast, two teams in terminal struggle with an owner headed the same way, and the Sox threatening to move down 65 to Music City (just don't talk to me about the actual team). It's no wonder Chicago remains a strong sports radio town with all these changes.

Well my station wftx got the scripps treatment fired alot of anchors and has a lawsuit on them etc. And hired and fired the subsequent successor news team and in this new style newcast all you see is the "community correspondent" reports don't even see the anchors anymore

Standard? No pun intended, but that one came out of left field. You’d think Reinsdorf would just repurpose Stadium into the new RSN. I’m not sure how Standard is going to be able to run a regional sports net when it seems like they can barely run their local TV affiliates.
