Scott and Kristen currently split the anchoring duties for the Noon newscast, so it would make sense to continue that arrangement @ 5P.

The New York City / WCVB connection is pretty extensive. Here's a sample: Phil Lipof, the soon-to-be former 5:00 p.m. anchor at WCVB, joined from WABC a few years ago. Erika Tarantal, the current noon anchor at WCVB, joined from WNBC a few years ago. Reid Lamberty, the current weekend anchor at WCVB, previously worked at WCBS and WNYW (where he anchored Good Day Wake Up, the same newscast Ben Simmoneau anchored at Fox 5). Steve Lacy, Fox 5's current 5:00 and 10:00 p.m. anchor, joined Fox 5 from WCVB, where he a weekend anchor. Shiba Russell, formerly a WNBC anchor, came to WNBC from WCVB, where she was a weekend anchor.

WFAA Meteorologist Ashton Altieri is leaving the ABC station after three years at the end of August. According to Carolyn Mungo, News Director at WFAA said that Altieri is leaving to return home to Denver where his wife received a "wonderful promotion". Since she is due to have another kid soon, would they hire someone when she'll need the whatever length of time maternity leave companies give??

My guess is NBC10 as Keith's 5 pm Co-anchor and possibly 11am? Not sure? CBS3 what would she do?

More likely she'll become an "eyewitness" to news on CBS3 or you can "count on it" that she'll appear on NBC10. They have anchor vacancies whereas 6ABC is "action"-packed with anchors.

I think Betty's pretty busy - she covers breaking news overnight (which has happened a lot) Early Today at 4AM, First Look at 5PM and then another edition of Early Today. Anymore I think they'd need to find a new anchor.

Well, I must say, that is one badass newsroom clock. It's like a timekeeper's and decorator's wet dream.

Just checked out the great Dennis Degan's Flickr account and it's a clock showing time for twenty four different cities. If I had to guess like most gear style clocks it's just for decoration. [MEDIA=flickr]26739796094[/MEDIA]
