1. As a resident of Ada, Oklahoma, KTEN's city of license, I watch the ABC sub channel for "Jeopardy!" they'll be some general station ID's with the ABC 10 logo, and others with the ABC Texoma logo that were from 2010 when the channel originally launched. There is a Facebook page for ABC 10, where only the ABC 10 logo displays with no mention of the ABC Texoma logo. Personally, I have been hoping that Lockwood will eventually sell KTEN & KAKE to a better owner. I'll take Sinclair or Nexstar at this point.

 4. What is it with Dallas and Robinsons? Apparently kxas has two branded ones. One for the morning and late afternoon/evenings - so they can take a breather? Maybe you would be better off with an R-66. Just think of the amount of money KFMB could make if they continued to charge the same rate but by operating an R-66.

 6. And yet they still scream CNN circa 2011. Now with a touch of GMA circa 2015 update.

 9. 8 stations in San Diego share a chopper... KSWB CW-6 KNSD KFMB KGTV KPBS KBNT T-20 Over 4,200 square miles... But we have a Jet Ranger III so over loaded that it can only take 1/2 bag of fuel and fly for under 2 hours below 1500ft asl... So we are officially still more lame than your soon to be R-66 that can be out-run by a moped. So there.

 11. Nexstar can't acquire KAKE+ though as they already own KSNW+.

 12. Unless Raycom starts a standalone news operation? I don't think Knoxville has ever had four operations. There are 10 full powers with 9 owners in Knoxville, so one of them CAN legally acquire WKNX and create a duopoly.

 13. It won't happen. That's a DTV replacement translator application that was filed back in 2009, long before Gray took over. The permit expired in 2013, although the FCC suspended the permit deadlines for LPTVs due to the incentive auction (although I'm not sure if that also applied to DTV replacement translators). Also, the coverage area for the translator is much smaller than WIYE's, and it's on VHF 2, which means the reception would be bad.

 14. Possibly, but it depends on who buys WKNX from Lockwood. Nexstar and TEGNA are possible, but so is Raycom.
