  1. Lisa: All right! It's time for ABC's "TGIF" line-up! Bart: Lis, when you get a little older, you'll learn that Friday is just another day between NBC's "Must See Thursday" and CBS' "Saturday Night Craporama".

  2. I'm not. Think of all the unforeseen issues that are likely to happen with the launch (like anytime a station launches a new graphics package, for example, let alone a whole new newscast). Having those issues right before the biggest story of the year when viewership is up and more eyeballs to catch a possible major issue makes for a bad first impression. Recent example is KSAZ last night testing their election ticker... And whoever runs that for them probably isn't brand new to the job.

  3. Sounds like she had an opportunity to do specific storytelling she wasn't going to be able to do in Cincy. Also, Tegna is one of the most LGBT friendly media companies out there. It's also overall just not a bad company to work for.

  4. It would just air in it’s entirety after the game and the local news. Just like now.

  5. That is correct starting next year FOX got Noon Marquee game, CBS the 3:30 slot in 2024 they will have Big Ten and SEC games next year in 2023. NBC will have the Big Ten Primetime game. Ask NBC about that one. They want The Big Ten in Prime Time. Also to add to my previous comment with how some in the SNL cast is talking and with this happening in 2023… I’m thinking season 50 might be the wrap for SNL more and more.

  7. Sadly all the networks gave up on Saturday nights years ago. I would not expect to ever see again a high rated night like when CBS had All in the Family, Bob Newhard Show (the original), Carol Burnett among other top rates Saturday night shows. All the networks treat Sat nights as an afterthought for too long.

  8. CBS says try pry it out of our cold dead fingers. https://deadline.com/2022/10/goodbye-10-pm-hour-network-primetime-cbs-abc-nbc-local-stations-1235149601/ https://www.avclub.com/cbs-says-you-can-pry-its-10-p-m-programming-block-out-1849679906

  9. Sounds good till you realize the same company that owns that Big 4also owns That FOX or CW in the market as well. It is the situation at a lot more stations then you think or even realize and while the sentiment is in the right place the reality says it isn’t correct.

  10. Neville Miller is moving to weekdays at KMBC-TV. Opinion only, but a Busby retirement is probably close.

  11. Agreed. How Kristine Sorenson was ever promoted to a weekday anchor job, and still has it nearly 20 years later is beyond me.

  12. The network stations should pull the 10/9 newscasts off the Fox stations. Let the Fox stations invest in their own news departments or resort to old Coach reruns.
