You have to realize that Miami DMA is only 3 counties with one of them, Monroe County being the Keys and a mostly uninhabited swamp on the mainland. Plus, Miami-Ft. Lauderdale area is the highest COL in the state and many middle class have been priced out of there and moved to Orlando and Tampa areas. Tampa is a much bigger DMA overall in land size and had explosive population growth post-COVID from many Northerners and South Floridians.

Although "Judge Judy" ended in 2021, reruns of her show have stood the test of time in syndication. That's quite amazing! Meanwhile, her Amazon series, "Judy Justice," is now also in syndication, so she is in even more places on broadcast television.

Both KWTV and KOTV debuted new graphics and music tonight as KWTV debuts a new set.

Not on the level of Weeters, but as a mod, the top-4 market sections were created in a much different time. The industry was healthier and the demand for it on this site was greater. We've also always had reasonably strong Philly representation to warrant its existence. New York and Chicago conversation is similarly active. Los Angeles, admittedly not as much, but leaving out market #2 would've been weird. I'm just not sure we have the interest for such a channel for individual stations in DFW. We had briefly kicked the tires on a Texas section, but that wouldn't be my call.

Or... a DFW News Forum is created and, if there's room, the Philadelphia News Forum stays below it.

With all of this in mind, I motion @Weeters to sunset the ‘Philadelphia News’ forum and replace it with a ‘DFW News Forum’

A lot of the larger affiliates carry the Judge Judy reruns in syndication in the afternoon. I could see them eventually going off their schedule giving affiliates that extra hour. The trick will be getting the affiliates to give back that hour to the network.

And it looks like Family Guy and Bob's Burgers will be leaving Syndication this fall due to Disney ownership, focus on streaming, and cable syndication on FX and FXX.
