I just read Brendan Carr's response and he is completely tone-deaf and also really unintelligent. Comcast and Disney don't own every affiliate and only own 12-13 stations when accounted for. To bring up Disney/Comcast to get support for an illegal merger is assinine.1 point

KMGH is a total dog in the market and virtually noncompetitive. KDVR and KUSA can pull in more viewers in the 25-54 demo than KMGH has total viewers.1 point

I believe it has to do with the Olympic rings. They probably needed the 12 to make the peacoc rings lockup work. The rings also can't appear anywhere near the ABC logo.1 point

I'm shocked by that one. Kelly Clarkson didn't feel like she wanted to continue, so I get that, but Sherri is the shocker because it sounded like she was having a very good time hosting and doing the program.1 point

That's sad. I enjoy it every time I watch. I've been to a few 30 Rock tapings (and a virtual one at Universal City during COVID) [& will go the last time later this month!] & had fun each time. Yesterday there was a special edition of Good Day NY. Do they plan to have a similar edition in the future? FOX5 is the only channel without a morning news program on weekends.1 point

I have to wonder if Rincon was created for the purpose of handling duopolies/triopolies that would come from a potential Scripps merger. I could also see Sinclair purchasing Marquee down the road, their WSWG/WSST/WFXL already closed their newscast in favor of the National News Desk, and maybe the same fate could befall WNKY, WMDT, and possibly WHIZ.0 points
