  1. The tape delay ratings in the Indy market still beat out the live ratings in other markets. So for WISH, it would give them a huge boost.

  2. Not necessarily. They tend to get around to updating the voiceovers “in due time.” And they’re quite fine running the short versions with no talent names. Either way, neither requires new graphics.

  7. Wouldn't shock me if it ends up airing at that time on WPXI. You are right that Judy did well in the timeslot before the evening news. But regardless of what time it airs, there will be schedule changes at PXI come September.

  8. Behind the scenes at CNN as the Space Shuttle Challenger blew up on liftoff 38 years ago: (This was shot by a crew who happened to be making a promo in the newsroom at the time.)

  9. Thank you so much, and really, thank you to everyone for the kind words, really proud of how far we've come in every aspect, from graphics and editing (Which I handle) to the set, reporting, and what all we've done! Just before Christmas we interviewed our superintendent! I agree with you Geoffrey, that's the area I want to focus on next, fixing the audio!

  10. They easily could've put a black and white 2 in the box instead of the call letters... Either go by the call letters or the 2.. but both together in 2 difference places is tacky

  11. Oh, what would we do without our daily dose of 48 Hours?!?

  12. They could take away new J!/WOF, Drew Barrymore, and the news magazines, but that's about it.

  13. Since all the episodes are available on-demand lately it's probably more that than anything rather than CBS mob-tacting them; at the end of the day it's yet another 'if you haven't seen it, it's new to you' syndicated package that fills an easy hour and captures the audience which doesn't want to deal with Freevee. And it certainly isn't original content in 2024. What is CBS going to do, take away their Dr. Phil reruns? No, not the Dr. Phil reruns from 2018 we air at 4am anyways that OWN and Pluto also air and will clog Merit Street soon, please don't take those.

  14. Interesting. Well, WCNC doesn’t have room for it anyway unless Tegna ditched Daily Blast Live.

  15. There was a tidbit in one of the articles when this was going into the market that CMV was telling stations with the current Judge Judy package NOT to pick up Judy Justice; kinda wonder if that’s the reason why a lot of the current Judge Judy station groups passed on this

  16. ...has closed multi-year deals with major broadcast groups including Nexstar, Sunbeam, Cox Media, Weigel, and Mission Broadcasting in well over a 100 U.S broadcast markets, including all of the top 10. Sounds like it will air primarily on CW stations.

  17. Someone else, perhaps you, also talked about WABC's NY Post look and feel. As for tabloid, I would love to see what Sunbeam would do with NYC station lol. As others have said, their look must be deliberate, because it's hard to believe the #1 station in the country would be that aesthetically clueless. Especially considering sister stations KABC and KGO look so much better in contrast. Jim Gardner not Vance I should say. This was perhaps WABC's last decent graphics package:

  19. So 6ABC is getting a new meteorologist next week. I wonder if they will switch over to the new graphics when she starts because the news intros would have to be updated to include her.
