  1. Is this not a list thread? It even has the word “list” in its title. @Weeters @24994J @CircleSeven
  2. Ben Bradley would be another good replacement.
  3. Post is still there. Click on the ABC News Live set pic and scroll over to pic#2.
  4. Keith and Jim references it on a Facebook Live on NBC10’s page in the 10pm hour that it was a rarity. Back in the 90s there were regular fill-ins that resulted in male-male pairings. 10 often had John Alston filling in for Tracy at 5pm next to Tim. Also, Rob regularly was Lisa’s fill-in next to Marc on 6 at 5pm.
  5. Noticed Vai and Tracy now anchor the entire 4-7am block with Lucy coming from the newsroom in the later part of the show. Also, Lucy is now on at 11am with Rosemary.
  6. Still disappointed in how NBC10 just unceremoniously dumped her. She’d be a great fit at 3. Although I like Bilo she doesn’t quite fit the chief meteorologist weekday evening weather person position. Made no sense when they dumped Orr. Bilo did well in the mornings. Same with Lauren Casey, she’s not evening material either.
  7. Surprised Cecily was only one from WPVI as it’s only an hour and half trek up the NJ Turnpike. Whose the guy in front of Jeff Smith?
  8. Props to WNT for sticking with the breaking new story tonight while NN and EN went into other news.
  9. Seems like it would make more sense to have David and Liz handle Noon and 5pm, and Bill and Sade 4pm, 6pm, and 11pm. Or if Ken were to retake the noon, then David and Liz at 4pm and 6pm, and Bill and Sade at 5pm and 11pm.
  10. Did they do the 11pm too? There wasn't a 5pm or 6pm because of college football.
  11. Just seems like you’re always hating on Norah and praising Jeff. Yes, CBS has been in last place for 35 years, but it’s not always the anchors fault. How do you feel she’s weak? Please elaborate. Who are the other qualified people at CBS that should have gotten the position? Keep in mind, star power is also important in addition to strong journalism skills.
  12. That’s because Glor was a lower profile anchor. Give it a rest, he was not CBS’s saving grace either. His prime in popularity passed a while ago.
  13. Erin is filling in for Sarah as feature anchor at 4pm as Sarah is filling in for Jeanette on the main anchor chair. By the looks of her Facebook page it looks like she’s back permanently.
  14. Beat me to it, I caught that too. Wonder if she’s filling in for anyone later. All three afternoon/evening ladies were off Friday, and Maggie filled in at 12, 4, and 5, and Alicia was the feature anchor for all 3 shows.
  15. So great to see they are finally adding a full time weekend co-anchor, if that is indeed what they are doing. Sarah can then finally go back to a M-F schedule. They should adjust the weather lineup too. Have Adam on at noon, 4, and 6, and Cecily at 5 (full hour), 10, and 11. Gives them equal air time, relieves David of long mornings, allows at least one of them to get home to their kids at a decent time, and establishes more cohesive teams (Cecily with Rick/Sharrie/Alicia, Adam with Brian/Sarah/Jeanette).
  16. They could easily move Brittney Shipp over from the morning tag team and call it a day. Too bad Kathy Orr isn’t available.
  17. Agree with what you said here, but another certain user who posts in bold is constantly posting political stuff on another thread and it never seems to be a problem. Just sayin...
  18. The 5pm had open with an intro today and featured Cecily, Jamie, Alicia, Sharrie, and Rick. Nothing at 5:30pm though. Not sure about the 4:30pm.
  19. Somebody mentioned on another site that these moves are odd for a brand that’s built on stability. I wonder if Jim is thinking about cutting back his workload and maybe dropping the 11 had anything to do with the drastic changes. When Shirleen left, they tested many pairs before deciding on Sharrie, although I believe she was the most frequent. Interestingly, Sarah was on today, Friday, at noon. So maybe that means she is back to a M-F schedule and someone else will be sitting next to Walter Sunday night. They mentioned Jeanette in the close, but not Alicia (who was not on today). Could she be the Sunday night anchor? We shall see, stay tuned ...
  20. These changes must be permanent. Sarah was mentioned in the 4pm Close even though Alicia was doing the feature stories today. They also referred to Jeanette as an anchor when they tossed to her for a story during the 5pm. Must say I’m not a fan of the changes and feel like they came out of nowhere (usually they test pairs on air). Rick and Sharrie have little chemistry. There’s really no room on the 5pm show for soft feature stories that Alicia now does. Jeanette jumped from reporter to 4pm anchor. Christie was the main reporter subbing as an anchor and she got nothing (so far). Sarah was subbing at 5pm since May and all she get’s is the 4pm feature role, definitely a slap in the face. And they need to get Walter a full time co-anchor.
  21. Noon today had generic opens with Brian and Sarah anchoring. Jeanette gave the 4pm preview from the newsroom and Alicia did an in-studio story in the 12:30 half hour. The close had Alicia standing by David, and her name was mentioned in the close.
  22. Hmmm, interesting. Perhaps Brian wanted off the 10pm to be home with kids. I think Rick’s kid is older and getting ready for college, so the noon/10pm switch makes sense for them. I hope that they are then going to test pairings at 4pm, with Sarah being the frontrunner. I do like Jeanette and Maggie, and think they are better at the anchor desk than Christie, but one of them should be put on weekend evenings with Walter, while the other two serving as fill-ins.
  23. Alicia was mentioned in the closing of the 5pm. If these are permanent pairings, it’s kind of sad to see Rick and Sarah broken up. Also, I feel like it’s a slap in the face to Sarah if she is not given the 4pm or 5pm as she well deserves it.
  24. Seems like something’s definitely up. Jeanette Reyes co-anchored at 4pm with Brian, and Sarah filled in for Alicia doing the features. The 4:30pm rejoin mentioned Sharrie in it, but she was not included in the close. But she gave the 5pm preview, and is now anchoring the 5pm with Rick. And Alicia was in studio at 5pm doing a story!!!
