Meh. I was really enjoying the Chantee/Toni rotation on Saturdays and Sundays.

Years ago the CBS Early Show was recording lower viewership than Fox & Friends on some mornings. It’s entirely plausible that Special Report could outpace CBSEN if they continue shedding viewers at the pace they have YoY.

This doesn’t feel like a ratings play for them. They’re trying to position themselves in the current administration’s good graces for their corporate interests. And assuming you’re one of those, I can only hope you’re the next victim of this administration’s absurdity. Good luck.

2.5 million viewer average incoming.

This is getting crazy. The 60 Minutes story ran in an on-demand version from Canada’s Global TV before being yanked down.

*RIP 60 Minutes. The rest of that network’s news programming has been dead anyway.

Perhaps they’ll eventually name a permanent anchor but I really like the Saturday and Sunday morning split line up of Chantee on Saturdays and Toni on Sundays with Michelle and Dani.

In terms of sets I think KTRK's is pretty awful. It's going on about 10 years old now too.

What a loss this is, he’s a titan in Texas broadcasting. Generations of Texas families, mine included, have heard the news from Dave Ward over his 50 year broadcasting history at channel 13. The station has been a shell of its former self since he stepped down. RIP Dave Ward. “Good evening, friends.”

I noticed that too. It’s been an interesting line up as well with Liz, Lee and Ryan all off and Sandra, Dani and Sam Ryan filling in for them respectively with Bill.

Apparently Nate Burelson is expected to be out as CBS Mornings undergoes a major overhaul with Gayle and Tony rumored to be taking new assignments.

Which of GMA or Today started this trend of Joe Buck and Mike Tirico guest hosting? I didn’t get to catch Tirico but Joe Buck was fun to see this morning.

They did something interesting today by having Will Reeve read the news headlines at 7:30am instead of Robin, George and Michael.

How appropriate is it for Chris Cuomo to be covering his own brother’s mayoral campaign? This is what got him fired from CNN.

WJZ laid off their chief meteorologist? Wow.

I can’t remember ever seeing Shirleen Allicot fill in on the weekend news. Pretty cool to see her with Toni Yates on this morning’s show. Pedro was with Chantee yesterday morning.

Razorback fans probably would’ve been perfectly fine missing that crapfest today.

Their statement makes it seem like they didn’t get any concessions from ABC. Quite a bit of pandering to this administration in their statement too.

Kimmel handled this extremely well. ABC somehow comes out of this looking better for ultimately standing by their late night guy even if it took some time. A very strong statement he’s making on freedom of speech and freedom of the press that we have to fight for under this administration.

Could this be the way ABC decides to fight back?

A bit more subdued on whose behalf? Kimmel to this point hasn’t said anything inflammatory. Surely you couldn’t be suggesting he tone down making fun of the POTUS?

Am I reading too much into the GMA video from this morning now being listed as private?
