Rob was basically anchoring entertainment style stuff while at ET and when he was at CNN he anchored the news from time to time so ABC having him anchor when needed is nothing he can't handle.

Nick Allard who was the morning meteorologist at Portland, OR NBC affiliate KGW is moving back up to Seattle to join Seattle CBS affiliate KIRO as their morning meteorologist. Allard previously worked in Seattle for NBC affiliate KING and sister station NWCN. Now one has to wonder where does this put Morgan Palmer who is the current morning meteorologist at KIRO?

In the end, I was semi-right, but apparently Cynthia Demos was not promoted.

Cynthia was basically a stop gap measure between the.departure of Shannon Hori and the arrival of Irika Sargent. Demos anchored mornings then moved to 5:30 and 10:00pm after Erika Von Tiehl left for KYW. When the 6:00pm show became a solo anchor show and the 5:00pm anchors did the whole hour and the 10:00pm show was cancelled then demos was moved to weekends.

Talk about a fast promotion. Rudaneh Shabazi who replaced Rhiannon Ally as morning co-anchor at Miami CBS owned WFOR in August is being promoted to weeknight 5 & 11 pm co-anchor replacing Irika Sargent who left for Chicago CBS owned station WBBM. Lauren Pastrana will be the new morning co-anchor.

I can't say but she was a good morning anchor at WCBS and I bet she would be a good weekend morning anchor and they can get rid of Andrea. I'm sorry but I'm not a big fan of Andrea's anchoring, she can go back to her reporter roll.

Perhaps she makes a better morning anchor then she did a evening anchor; also to note Kate's bio is gone from WBBM.

I wonder where Kate will end up. Maybe she can go back to WCBS and serve as a weekend anchor.

Would WCBS wanna take her back though?

Not sure if this has already been posted yet. But Rhiannon Ally and Crista Dubill have swapped 6 & 10pm. Rhiannon is now doing the 10pm and Crista is now doing the 6pm. So new evening schedule is Crista & Justin at 4, Rhiannon & Mike at 5, Crista & Mike at 6, Rhiannon & Mike at 10.

Throwing this out there but could Cindys absence be medical related?

Were Diana, Sade or Liz there last night?

Diana was there Sade was off Liz was there too I believe.

Were either or both of them on at noon today?

No Ken & Lauren anchored the noon show today. David also was in at 11 last night as well. Liz was in for Sade last night at 11.

Shirleen and David in for Sade and Bill at 11 tonight.

Saw Janice was on at noon. First time since the 90's I saw her do the noon weather-cast? Did she also fill in on TINY today?

No she did her normal shift tonight. When New York Live host Sara Gore had her baby Janice would fill in from time to time and then go do her normal weather duties. The noon show doesn't have a set meteorologist rather it's usually between Chris, Rafael & Steve.

The morning show was anchored solo? Wow. WCBS is in better shape than you guys but they are also in serious need of talent. I honsetly cant think of one reporter they have that could be promoted to anchor or even fill in. And honestly the best team they have is Alice Gainer and Dick Brennan on WLNY (which not everyone gets). I think they should be put on WCBS at 5 or 6.

Whenever Dana Tyler retires I'm sure Alice and Dick will take on the 6 pm newscast in addition to the 9 pm newscast. Kristine and Maurice can remain on at 5 & 11.

I would say normal shift as Sade, Liz & Bill were on their normal schedules. Joe Torres filled in for Diana on the 5 pm Monday and yesterday not sure if he will be there again today.
