  1. This is what I was looking for. Or... The Tube Music Network. I wish THAT came back.
  2. I think this was missed. The purchase of TEGNA to acquire KTBU has been finalized and closed on March 24th. Three days later, it switched from Mega TV to Quest which is what its currently airing. According to Wikipedia and RabbitEars as well as Mike McGuff, the Vietnamese subs are still on but I doubt it will last there, especially now that its under TEGNA ownership. https://mikemcguff.blogspot.com/2020/03/tegna-takes-over-ktbu-55.html
  3. Yes because y'all are forgetting that Raycom (now Gray) owned KASA from 1999-2007.
  4. I'd bet its only temporary for COVID-19 as it'll go back to just an hour afterwards.
  5. I just got word from KSHB themselves... its temporary. They'll go back to starting at 4 p.m. once the outbreak is over.
  6. That's the part I'm trying to figure out because so many stations have been adding newscasts left and right lately and the majority being temporary that I won't know if its permanent until the pandemic is over.
  7. winner winner, chicken dinner!
  8. Thanks for letting me know, T.L. but I'll be waiting for which ones hit the airvwaves before I report anything on it. Its critical to get it right.
  9. Notice the mistake in the promo.
  10. But that's also only because most NBC affiliates rather carry *The More You Know* E/I block in full, in which most (not all) affiliates air it from 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. on weeks the Premier League have a game on NBC.
  11. When I saw the listings, it was on those four plus WATL, WUPA and GPB Radio.
  12. Unless, if you look at Charlotte for example, it carries local news (I know, its CW is owned by Bahakel). So YouTube TV is carrying WCCB Charlotte and if that's the case, then it should also carry KPLR St. Louis, KTLA Los Angeles, KWGN Denver, WNLO Buffalo and WTVW Evansville because they all carry a significant amount of local news (especially KTLA).
  13. For the record, WTOC expanded their 4PM news to an hour like a month or so before this so the expansion is NOT related to COVID-19. This is the report I put out about that back on February 15th: https://changingnewscasts.wordpress.com/2020/02/15/small-minor-newscast-changes-321/
  14. KFMB AM/FM aren't even going to be together as KFMB FM is kept by LMSD while KFMB AM will go to the same owners as their main news/talker rival, 600 KOGO.
  15. They should put Barren's background as a live shot of Charleston just for keeps! Lmao.
  16. Permanent or during this outbreak pandemic?
  17. Or make the fourth and fifth hours available on Peacock. Because even 13 years later, I still think a four-hour morning show from NBC is just too much. Affiliates would love to take that 10AM hour to themselves again. EDIT: If affiliates like WBAL-TV Baltimore don't even air the 10AM hour, then just put it on Peacock and leave it there.
  18. Its honestly really interesting. KPDX will take... KPDX - MNT KPTV - FOX (this one is obvious) KGW - NBC Meanwhile, KRCW will take... KRCW - CW KOIN - CBS (also obvious) KATU - ABC They'll also provide split PBS programming so that OPB can be covered too. I can't wait to see how this will be handeled but its nice to see all the broadcasters come together to try out the future of television.
  19. Are channels changing too?
  20. Oh well...
  21. I can cofirm this after watching today's broadcast on WFMZ's on-demand stream via SBTV. Looks all traditional which makes me question why they couldn't just use LIVE at Sunrise for the 9AM hour if they use the same name at 5, 6, 7 and 8AM. Its not like the 9AM is different from the other hours, at least from what I saw.
  22. Woah. Didn't see that coming.
  23. When was there a FS3? Haha. There's only a FS1 and FS2.
  24. But damn Mark Supplesa became a really good solid anchor at WGN so it was all good. But in all honestly, it should've been Steve and Allison at 9 until Allison left (due to health problems).
  25. Just by looking at TV listings for next week, it looks like Take 5 goes away entirely.
