  1. Fox’s lead NFL producer has started a weekly blog that takes readers behind the scenes of the game that the network’s A-team calls every week.
  2. I take this as Ryan finally rejoining the sports team. That’s good to see. I wouldn’t be surprised to see it move OTA, myself. Also, WBBM doesn’t have a Sunday sports show, either.
  3. KTLA will air 15 Clippers games exclusively this season.
  4. With Prime Time with John Dickerson running Monday-Thursday, the Friday 7pm hour is CBS News Weekender.
  5. KXAS’s cut-ins, branded The Connection, are done live with 4pm anchor Kristi Nelson.
  6. The Point was exclusively streaming on CBSN NY for a while.
  7. The standard O&O look. Although WKYC (Tegna) models their cut-ins after the Daily brand.
  8. Yes. There are opt-out periods around those times during the show where affiliates can do cut-ins.
  9. They had Early Edition and CNN Live This Morning.
  10. Nope. The show doesn’t have an official website. But I did find this anti-Ring Nation website.
  11. I was actually watching that newscast yesterday and there was no mention of that name anywhere. It used the existing KPIX 5 News branding.
  12. There was a promo video posted in the WCBS thread about a Jets show they air that had the “CBS New York” branding on it instead of “CBS 2”. KCNC is gearing up to rebrand to “CBS Colorado” and the 9am newscast they launched this week is called “CBS Colorado Mornings”. WWJ has already rebranded itself to “CBS Detroit” and their entire news department will be called “CBS News Detroit”. And when KCAL launches their new morning newscast in a month or two, it certainly won’t be called “KCAL 9 News Mornings” since KCBS will simulcast an hour of that show at 6am in between their double-run of CBS Mornings. Not to mention WFOR has been teasing a rebrand to “CBS News Miami” for a few months now. The evidence is overwhelming at this point.
  13. All of the CW standalone stations have launched the new websites. WUPA: https://www.cbsnews.com/atlanta/ WTOG: https://www.cbsnews.com/tampa/ KSTW: https://www.cbsnews.com/seattle/
  14. Well, it's Jim Williams and Marie Saavedra as the new 11am team.
  15. Update: the “CBS Colorado Mornings” branding is being used for the 9am newscast.
  16. The morning newscast was supposed to be rebranded as “CBS Colorado Mornings”. As of today, it is still “CBS4 This Morning”.
  17. Turns out that gray NBC top-right bug from the Kickoff Game was only temporary. The regular bug is a 2D full-color Peacock with “SNF” next to it.
  18. Takeaway: don’t expect anything radical tomorrow.
  19. The Weekend News has the new graphics.
  20. Predicting it’ll debut shortly after KCAL debuts their new set.
  21. Yeah, after reading it again, I’m reading it that way, as well. Maybe Ellis Monday-Wednesday and Curran Thursday-Friday. I agree, hopefully Edwards is named the anchor.
  22. As a result of the new 9am newscast being anchored by the regular morning team, Ed Curran and Robb Ellis are the new 11am team.
