It's amazing that Steve Wilkos and Karamo have no affiliates in Miami since Scripps dropped the former from WSFL a couple of years ago. You'd think WPLG probably would picked them up. The closest both shows get to the market are WTVX and WTCN in West Palm Beach, respectively.

I’ll raise you one. KDFW airs it at 11am too. We’re Market 4. In other news, ABC News is launching a new D+-exclusive show calledWhat You Need To Know. (I couldn’t find a proper place to put it, so the GMA thread was the closest place I could).

The future of The Kelly Clarkson Show is up in the air.

I would also wonder what this means for the channel’s carriage in the Caribbean. I was in Montego Bay, Jamaica last year for a family vacation and Flow carries the Miami locals, including WPLG. Same thing for ABC Miami.
-
I suspect a lot of hotels in Miami-Fort Lauderdale will be dropping them from their lineups come next month, too.
-
From their FAQ page:
-
WPLG has picked up rights to women’s soccer club Fort Lauderdale United FC.

Effective today, KDFW is expanding their noon newscast to an hour. DFW will once again have an hour-long noon newscast since WFAA moved their’s to 11am in 2018 to accommodate GMA3.

As we enter July, it’s time to sunset the 2024-25 thread and move to the 2025-26 thread. There is a new game show, Scrambled Up, with host Michael Yo coming this fall.

ABC Miami will also be offered on channel 18.1.

WDIV Announces Plans to open Coffee Shop, TV Studio
Georgie56 replied to ns8401's topic in General TV
I think it's a good idea. Local TV news needs all the help it can get, and this is a very innovative way of doing it. This'll help viewers have a more personal connection with WDIV. Also, the article mentions that WDIV is moving production of their daily lifestyle show there. -
