  1. I have always said that PBS & NPR can make it on their own with the donations they get and I'm sure they have rich donors as well. Plus, my tax dollars shouldn't have to fund PBS & NPR, and they need to be defunded plus I want my money back since it is a waste of taxpayer money to fund them defund PBS & NPR now.
  2. I'm surprised the 9/11 families haven't made a press release on LIV Golf signing with FOX as they were vocal when The CW signed onto LIV Golf. I know the higher ups at The CW did say they knowledge them and left it at that which I'm sure FOX Sports would say the same thing if they were ever asked. I don't know if the ratings will be better on FOX than on The CW.
  3. Yeah, I'm also surprised that they aren't adding new personality as you said Springer.
  4. AMG lost a local insurance company in MS CEO told those to not watch Wheel to hurt Byron Allen which I doubt that would work in my opinion. Hubbing weather to TWC is a back idea and a an epic fail as well.
  5. As I thought that WTXF license would be renewed, and that Media & Democracy didn't have a case to begin with and only did this stunt to get attention and get people to donate for the cause. I thought this wasn't going to renew until the new FCC came into power but I was glad that the old FCC renewed it as their final act., And scolded not just MAD but other groups on 60 Minutes and I didn't know that the ABC O&O in Philly also got a complaint as well.
  6. I was surprised that Imgicomn Comm bought TV stations a couple of years ago from CMG weren't theses TV owned by Northwest at one time. Other than Mem & OK.
  7. Will Cain should do good at 4PM not surprised that business news is out at that hour.
  8. I don't see the GOP controlled FCC will go through that Nexstar has to sell WPIX or they buy it outright maybe since the rules will be relaxed maybe Nexstar will own WPIX outright. Yup, The CW app is free. Altice is different name but can't get rid of the Cablevision smell out of it LOL. I feel that Nexstar & Altice will come to an agreement in the next few months in my opinion than they will with MSG RSN.
  9. The UFO's taking over Dan Abrams show in Feb LOL.
  10. All the best to Neil Cavuto in the nest chapter it seems that Neil health problems that he was more off than on for the last few years. When FOX News was added in the cable lineup in 2001, I watched his show a lot for years, but I haven't watched his show for years as well. I watched his final send off last night very good and touching and bittersweet as well.
  11. I liked Tom Niziol he was pretty good for the winter forecasts. All the best to Tom wherever he goes.
  12. Not surprised as the hot topics would've been outdated and I think The Price Is Right is good to air in that timeslot. I didn't even know that Vanna White was a Contestant on The Price Is Right in 1980 I didn't watch it when I saw the video on YouTube.
  13. WWMT DT4 has put CHSN on the subchannel Blackhawks & Bulls games are blacked out even the replays what was the point to putting this channel on in West Michigan it's a waste of DT space for it in my opinion.
  14. I thought that WFFT being in Fort Wayne news wouldn't be cut and isn't Fort Wayne bigger than Lafayette I don't get that move.
  15. FOX56 in Lexington viewers were mad that they didn't air Ohio ST. VS IU game for high school basketball couldn't they have put those high school basketball games on a subchannel. That would've been the smart move than putting it on the main channel and not airing Ohio ST. VS IU. You blew it Nexstar.
  16. TEGNA putting the for sale sign up their going to be sold in the next year or 2 in my opinion. This smells what Meredith did when they made these types of cuts when Gray came and bought them.
  17. As others have said I always thought NBC News thought of MSNBC as the stepchild and didn't really like them that much their living sperate lives for many years now. I was surprised that that they wanted to spin CNBC & MSNBC along with USA Network. But I guess they did that so the new company had some major networks than just the smaller cable networks. As some have mention FOX local TV stations and FOX News and thinking that there all the same, I know the difference one was entertainment with sports as I like to call it Big FOX & one with conservative news FOX News on cable. The only 2 don't really mention FOX in the name is FOX in Boston going by 25 News & WSVN in Miami.
  18. I agree with Howard Beale that TEGNA wants out Soo Kim or Standard General A.K.A. Media General from the dead will not be the buyer. Why their hubs the marketing and making the cuts which I feel bad for those out of a job right near the holidays. I'm surprised that TEGNA didn't want to sell in that 2017-2020 I know they were into a buying spree in that time and it didn't work out for them.
  19. Glad that Inside The NBA will live on after this year NBATV has NBA Gametime that is the flagship show for NBATV.
  20. WZPX replace Scripp News DT6 with ION+ DT6 which WXMI FOX17 put on their DT4 in July of this year.
  21. I really wonder how long that FB page will update in a few months time as I feel like those types of pages fizzle after a while in my opinion. I checked it out so far it only has 2K members. Sinclair & NTV don't care what those on that page think of them.
  22. I thought it was odd for PBR to go to a start up like Meril Street should've stayed with the cable sports networks as I think PBR was on CBS Sports Network before going to Dr. Phil.
  23. I knew that Brandon Carr was going to be the new Chairmen at The FCC come Jan of this year since he has been the one always making statements when rules came out that he didn't like. Which means that Nexstar/Mission doesn't have to sell WPIX. As Brandon Carr will undo what the outgoing chairwomen Jessica did.
  24. In Lansing Gray canceled 11AM newscast & 4PM newscast surprised they even had a newscast on at 4PM in Lansing as nothing really happens there.
  25. WXMI Fox17, As Of Nov, 18 T-F 48 Hours move to 1PM to 2PM, Dateline gets a 2-Hour Block 2PM to 4PM, Modern Family 7PM to 7:30PM other than Wed for the Detroit Lions program Inside The Pride at 7PM. Fox17 shouldn't have ever let go of Jennifer Hudson after season 1 go to Nexstar, I never understood why they got rid of it or tried to get Tamron Hall this year as well for syndication when Sinclair didn't renew it.
