I at first did not have much hope for this rebrand but the new intro, updated 87 theme, in studio graphics actually changes my mind! I can't wait to see this in action!

True, most networks in foreign countries (like Canada) have a six and ten newscast. Always found it weird why the US networks never catched on, likely because of our "local first" vision. BBC airs newscasts at 6 and 10 (formally nine when ITV still had "News at Ten" and so does ITV. Always also found it weird why for like at 6/5 in the US, local newscast came first then national while internationally (UK especially) it is the opposite.

I thought they learned their lesson with "The Jay Leno Show"?

I've seen some decent mocks on YT (and here on TVNT as well) showing what the Evening News might look like with the modern CBS brand with graphics and an intro. Perhaps some might be possible accurate predictions...

The KOLN graphics aren't that bad for Gray standards, in fact their quite good. Perhaps WGCL and the Meredith stations will get something similar (likely in WGCL'S case, new graphics and a rebrand might be in store with the new upcoming set )

Good for her, she'll do great I'm sure! Not the first time an Atlanta anchor went to Philly or vis versa, Lorrie Wilson for example went from WGCL to WCAU to WSB

Honestly I was not a fan of WLS's last weather graphics so these are a welcomed change! I do hope the lower thirds look just as nice and a suitable open is used. You said this before the weather graphics debuted but probably the same old bowl of soup. Random philly shots, end it with something that looks better as promo or return from commercial but with the new graphics

I know this is probably a lost cause considering Fairbanks is one of the smallest markets in the nation but when on earth is Gray going to do something with KTVF and sister station KXDF?? Seriously they've owned the stations since 2017 and have yet to do ANYTHING, no new sets or graphics yet KTVF is using the WMC graphics for weather, heck both are not even in HD yet!

Looks better than KTVF's living room with a working TV after a hurricane
