Actually for some reason this has been happening for most of "The Late Show"'s uploads, for some reason on air they'll have the new bug but on YT it'll be the old bug.

Hello everyone, Was working on these graphics that we might launch with our upcoming rebrand, basing them off the new CBS O&O graphics, what do y'all think?
-
Thank you so much! You are referring to the green screen set used in our most recent episode right? Thanks! Within the industry I'm not the biggest fan of green screens but since we're on a tight (non existing) budget and we had the green screen lying around we thought why not use it though we'd still like to explore using some form of a real set. That new rebrand we are considering switching to is "Magnet Newsroom" and there is a small room with windows that overlooks our media center, giving the view sort of a newsroom feel but as far as how it would look beyond that we're not sure. Also the lighting is bad in there, the lights weren't replaced with brighter ones unlike the rest of our building recently. Both sets seen in that video (the beginning one and the one that darkens at the end) I based them off European sets as I am a fan of most design's coming from there (sets and graphics) and I'm glad it seemed to pay off! In regard to "visual effects", do you mean the overall graphics package (I assume you mean the one we're currently using) or certain aspects of it? I made a concept based off the new CBS O&O look that we might use for the rebrand as well.

Hello everyone! I've been thinking about doing this post, and sharing this with you all for a while now and so now I am doing it. I've mentioned this once or twice I think on the forum before but I am the founder of my school's news program, I am also in charge of editing, as well as doing our graphics, which I've made myself like the many concepts I've posted on here. We started the program late last school year, here is our first episode. This is our first episode of the school year when we started to implement a new graphics package And this is our most recent episode, since our first episode of the year we slighted edited the graphics and started to use a green screen again. In addition we also do a monthly edition in Spanish. I would most appreciate any feedback y'all could give us on the overall product, from both graphics packages, the sets, and the stories from the collective experience's across the industry from the overall way we do things, etc as we try our best to put out a professional product out each week, as when you look online for other high school news programs, they are not this professional or as concise IMO. Also, we are considering a rebrand in the coming weeks as one of the challenges we have faced is being confused with our school's weekly newsletter which is of the same name.

New studio and graphics for France 2's news programs, including 20h and 13h. Set is smaller then their last one, which was huge, but is a nice successor and the graphics are just as elegant.

Well with Mark coming in soon, probably so will changes to the schedule, including CNN This Morning. I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this but here I am anyway. I asked A.I to make a list of possible names that CNN could go with, if they do indeed decide to get rid of the This Morning name, here it is. - CNN Sunrise - CNN Daybreak - CNN Morning Report - CNN Wake Up Thoughts?

Second image looks perfect, I hope that is what they do for election coverage, but I agree with you on everything else, either it's too small or too large, they need one size for all to fit with the LIVE bug, I'm actually glad the bug returned for this as if it didn't, it admittedly would have looked more off.

Wait did the name "CNN This Morning" look so squished in the 2014 lower thirds? It makes sense to me to just shorten the titles like I do in my concepts (CNN This Morning/This Morning, Erin Burnett Outfront/Outfront)
-
I know I already commented on this thread since the graphics update was announced but here are my thoughts on this, sorry in advance if it goes on a rant/tangent. I don't even know what CNN is doing anymore, it's like for some reason people at the network itself seemed to despise the new look in it's original form that they just had to change it so many times, just for it to look the same pre-update. When you update something, the point of the update is to make that something look DIFFERENT. If we went through all this trouble, just to return back to the pre-Licht graphics then why did we even change them in the first place? Almost everyone on here agreed the update, looked fine enough as it was the little things about it that made it good, like the flipper and the moving of the time, but now that that's been removed, we are left with this mix-match look that just feels out of place. CNN needs actual new lower thirds soon but I fear these updates only push that back.

And when do these changes go into effect?

Eight CBS Stations to Ditch CW and Go Independent This Fall
ATLNewsExpert replied to AKA's topic in General TV
Interesting. Does this mean there will be new operations stayed up (WUPA) or CBS News streaming will be aired or something? -
Eh I'm mixed, while the new lower third's were only evolutionary and not revolutionary, admittedly they were a lot cleaner and simpler, with the ticker and such. This will be a confusing change for viewers but hopefully a new CEO will actually implement NEW, more modern L3'S, that goes for most of the shows as well.

A lot has happened since the initial announcement but wasn't Katlin Colin's show supposed to start this month?
-
As long as it's down with the same formats, sets, graphics, and music otherwise we'd end up with the current rendition of The Chase

Eight CBS Stations to Ditch CW and Go Independent This Fall
ATLNewsExpert replied to AKA's topic in General TV
If that happens forget "CBS News Atlanta", ATL would go crazy like Philly did when WPVI dropped the original "MCTYW". honestly "WSB News and streaming on CBS News Atlanta" -
The Korean Broadcasting System's flagship news program "KBS News 9" has debuted a new look, with an updated theme, a new set, and intro in celebration for the 50th anniversary of the relaunch of KBS. I personally think this is a vast improvement, replacing some quite over the top 3D graphics and a small set.

Does someone have the open?

ATLNewsExpert replied to NEOMatrix's topic in Graphics
Update on KTVF: Sister station KXDF has too debuted new graphics and a new logo with KTVF's branding, Newscenter. They've so far have debuted primarily only a new on-set graphic, they've seemed to have trouble with the intro with the new logo, it being just a still image and no music. -
The Ever-Evolving Gray Graphics Situation...Thread
ATLNewsExpert replied to NEOMatrix's topic in Graphics
Well on this mornings broadcast of 'The Fairbanks Morning News" on Fairbanks AK NBC affiliate KTVF, a new open debuted, though its a werid combo of the old graphics and the new ones. It looks even more bad with the bad quality of the morning broadcast, perhaps it'll look better tonight. Everything else seems to be the same, no new video panel graphic, lower thirds, or anything, but in the intro a new logo showed itself, but the old logo is still around for everything else, maybe more will come.
