The ATV Blog stated a few hours ago that KTHV 11 will be implementing the new graphics tomorrow. The station even have a slideshow of each of the color-codes. Gari returns to Channel 11, since their Action News days (and for the market) eighteen years ago; and just like its now-sister station KUSA, their last Gari theme was "It's All Right Here".

THV has a new logo and a new name dropping "Today's 11" for "THV 11"

And WLTX (CBS; Columbia, SC) switched to the new look days ago.

The only stations left to switch is Maine (WCSH/WLBZ), WGRZ, FCN (WTLV/WJXX), & WZZM

WMAZ hasn't switched either.

there's something about that logo...it bothers me so much...something...off and odd about it you know?

It's the damn gradient that kills it for me. Not to mention the color...

I'm not a fan of the 11 font. The top-left end doesn't seem to stick out far enough. I'm not a fan of the gradient or color either (They should have kept the gold) but I do enjoy the light sweep across the logo vis a vi clipping mask.

Just watched WZZM's newscast online. Two interesting things:

- They seem to be using the same theme as some of the NBC stations, and it sounded like they just cut off the last note of the "NBC chimes"... Gotta check again.

- They talked about the "Color Coating" of the news stories - does that mean that they're going to adjust the tint for each story, or just totally wash out the story with the appropriate color ;-)

I like how WZZM used colored cups for "the color code"

Also waiting on WTLV/WJXX in Jacksonville, FL (still with old graphics) - thinking a rename of the news is coming: reporters end their segments now with:

Joe Reporter, First Coast News 12 25... Last time I was through there, I don't recall the 12 25...

First Coast News implemented the graphics earlier today. WGRZ will implement the graphics this coming Tuesday. Maine's News Center hasn't implemented yet. But they are airing the image song. Should they get the graphics, they better keep that Good News "Storm Center" cue.

While we're waiting on the last stations to forgo the Pyburn Graphics/Rampage Music, lets look back when the graphics debuted in Fall 2008. WZZM was the first to implement the graphics and WXIA was the last station. Shockingly this time, WFMY is the first to implement the new graphics, and it appears that WCSH/WLBZ will be the last to receive the graphics.

Okay WGRZ has now implemented the graphics. They are telling the viewers to give it some time to tweak the graphics "let's say, two weeks." And then write to them through their social media.

The first quarter is almost over and Gannett looks like they won't make it to its end of the 1st quarter deadline. Maine's NewsCenter is the sole news ops without the graphics.

Well WGRZ viewers are sounding off on the station's Facebook wall. Many dislike the look completely and don't too much care for the image song, and now they've set up a special e-mail & a phone number for viewers to complain on the new look.

Poor Gannett! They just can't do ANYTHING RIGHT can they?

At this rate, if they keep getting this many complaints, they'll slip into dead last!
Stealing KUSA's style open, eh?

Style, yes. It's a little sloppy, the fast cuts should match up to the notes.

On graphics changes viewers are (mostly) bark and no bite. They hate change, but will get used to it. When these graphics change in a few years people will be pissed again and swear they're changing the channel.
