IMO, Tegna needs to replace Twist with either TCN (The Country Network) or Heartland (FKA TNN). Or by the time Twist signs off, Tenga stations can run rebroadcast of local news and lifestyle shows on their diginet 24/7.

Again, it's just my opinion.

I never watched Twist looking at the shows there wasn't much interested I was in plus Charter Spectrum or Comcast didn't put WZZM DT5 in the lineup which if I was WZZM I'd move the weather network to DT5 put True Crime Network to DT2/DT3 for Quest in my opinion.'

Doubtful that happens, but it opens up channel space for The365 and Outlaw to fill in non-Gray markets when they launch New Year's Day.

I was researching Denver TV salaries for another thread, and saw KUSA has a LOT of producer openings.  Specifically, seven total: one EP, two producers, and four senior producers.  I know producers are in demand and most every TV station these days has producer openings, but what’s going on at KUSA with so many openings?

Right now it's two episodes of Daily Blast Live at 3pm. Pretty easy to get rid of at least half of that.

It'll probably rate better, or at least similar, too. Might even get the benefit of local content before local news.

DBL is on 7:30PM when it debuted in fall of 2017 it isn't live I think it is the last place show in the 7:30PM timeslot in West Michigan on WZZM. Since the ratings aren't a meter market hard to tell what the ratings are but most are stuck in their ways of what there watching at 7:30PM, for me I'm watching/in the background Access Hollywood, Inside Edition & now TMZ which is aired 3 times in a day.

This is a very embarrassing snafu for Tegna's Oregon station, KGW-TV.  It broadcast a racist photo from the 1940s during its feel-good news/entertainment program, The Good Stuff.  KGW management apologized but did not explain how or why it happened.

According to Snopes, the photo in question came from a 1942 YMCA brochure for a summer camp in Wisconsin.

KGW, Why did someone think this was okay? It wasn't.

I noticed my CW subchannel on KFMB 8.2 stopped airing the 8am hour except during local inserts while CBS 8 carries CBS Mornings since March 15 (idk if KONG dropped the 8am hour similarly several years back), they even dropped the time and temperature on the 7am hour. Luckily CW became available on DirecTV Stream last month on channel 9 just like on satellite.

With all the Caitlin Clark buzz, WTHR and stations in 11 other markets (including many non-Tegna stations) will carry 17 Indiana Fever games:

I'm surprised that that Fever games will not be aired in West Michigan surprised that TEGNA didn't want to air it on DT3 or DT4, Sinclair's ARC WMI or Nexstar's WXSP/CW-WMI. Since Detroit doesn't have a WNBA team as they left in 2009, Caitlin Clark is popular in West Michigan why didn't they want to air those 17 games.

Probabay they can make a duopoly if they looking at either WTLJ or WLLA, WZZM might look at picking up MNTV and secondary ABC affiliation rights away from Nexstar and improved it's signal into Battle Creek and Kalamazoo if Tegna looks at WLLA and uses it subchannel to give full market ABC exclusivity. In case of Bally Sports Detroit collapses they can buy the local rights of 3 of the 4 Detroit sports teams in the West Michigan market.
