CaptainNews 287 Posted June 22, 2017 Posted June 22, 2017 Take a look for yourself. What do you think? It also includes a new animation from the logo to “Connecting You”
MichiganNewsGraphicsJunkie 949 Posted June 22, 2017 Posted June 22, 2017 I love how they have the wrong website up for it... I like it overall though
ChesapeakeTV 312 Posted June 22, 2017 Posted June 22, 2017 Very nice, though if it were me I'd space "Connecting You" closer together on the horizontal axis. Having them move so far apart looks a tad disjointed to my eyes.
Journalist 894 Posted June 22, 2017 Posted June 22, 2017 This logo is..... It accomplished the objective without being overly offensive to the eye. Nonetheless, there's really nothing much to say about it besides the fact it's just as bland like the logo preceding it.
24994J 5629 Posted June 22, 2017 Posted June 22, 2017 The logo is real, that graphic demo is, imagine that, a demo. I posted it in the shout box when it first came out. Their website has had the 'NBC CT' logo on it since they refreshed the websites a year or two ago.
qunewsguy 378 Posted June 23, 2017 Posted June 23, 2017 The shortened version of the logo also pops up regularly on-air in promos and also in print ads and billboards so it makes sense that it would make its way the newscasts.
rkolsen 1686 Posted June 23, 2017 Posted June 23, 2017 I love how they have the wrong website up for it... I like it overall though Let's face it a large chunk of their viewership is probably working in the NYC DMA.
Rusty Muck 4405 Posted July 5, 2017 Posted July 5, 2017 I'd have branded it "WVIT NBC." Channel position doesn't matter that much, and WTIC had already tried the "Fox CT" brand before reverting to "Fox 61." As least the WVIT calls have some sort of cache in the market. Not that much, but it's gotta be much more than "NBC CT."
DonDonP1 118 Posted July 5, 2017 Posted July 5, 2017 With respect to naysayers, I love that new logo.
