Would WUSA even hire him....if he even wanted to work again?

That would be his third station in DC after WJLA and WRC...

WUSA’s entire game plan is based on hiring anchors fired from other stations. The entire morning show is WTTG castaways.

Nah. They should’ve learned their lesson by now. They tried to play fantasy football with their morning show, hiring FOUR anchors away from Fox 5 and it basically propelled them from 5th place to 4th.

Plus as far as main anchors go, Lorenzo Hall is pretty darn good.

Mitch Carr (remember him from NewsNation's Early Morning before it was cancelled?) is joining WDBJ 7 Roanoke. With this, and Jean Jadhon's retirement, there will be a shuffling of anchor lineup changes at the station.

This includes longtime anchor Kimberly McBroom moving to midday and 3pm.

You would have thought they would have rebounded after WJLA was tanked by Sinclair, but Tegna's gonna Tegna....

A reporter and photojournalist from WJZY got shot at while covering a story in Chester County, SC. Thankfully they're both ok. One person did get shot, and several men carried the victim to a vehicle and drove away. The condition and location of the victim is unknown at this time.

Lowkey thought his career was over, he vanished for a longtime. Good for him though!

Debated between putting this here or in the SportCenter, but at 90 years young, Lee Corso is calling it quits after almost 40 years at ESPN. Final telecast will be August 30, and ESPN says special programming will air in the days leading up to it.

Saturday mornings during Football Season won't be the same.

Emily Pritchard is Lisa Rose's replacement at KYTV Springfield, Mo. starting July 28th.

First, a departure: Nicolette Zangara will be leaving the station April 29th. While I was at UF, I would watch her forecasts so I vouch for her in her future.

Couple of departures from KTUL/KOKH. Yesterday was sports Director TJ Eckert’s last day after 7 years at KTUL. Tonight is Meteorologist Colton Williams last day at both stations. Both are planning to stay in green county but haven’t announce their plans. Well I should say TJ said he will announce later on down the road Colton isn’t for sure as to his next plans but is planning on doing social media weather updates still.

Update on TJ Eckert he is joining KJRH starting Monday as senior reporter/anchor and will be anchoring the 6:00/6:30 Extra Edition newscasts with Naomi Keitt.

This very quick promo explains who will be WRIC's next Chief Meteorologist once John Bernier retires next week.

It's an easy no brainer home run if you ask me.

Josh Fitzpatrick has been absent from WVIR Charlottesville's airwaves for quite some time.

Now we know why and its for a VERY SERIOUS and troubling reason.

EDIT: He actually left in early March.

Yesterday was Chelsea Aaron's last day at WAFF 48 after a 3 year ride.

She's staying in Huntsville so it sounds like she's leaving the business more than anything else.

UPDATE: It seems as the failed sale of iMedia Brands/ShopHQ to RNN either created bad blood between the two, or triggered a contractual out clause.

Because in a very recent development, ShopHQ is no longer on WRNN in the NYC market. ShopHQ's replacement? The Liquidation Channel, aka ShopLC. One can assume this has been mirrored at RNN's other stations.

No announcement of the switch was made on either side.

The winner in this deal? Actually, WRNN. The network abruptly left the air entirely on April 15 as it quickly became clear that the energy drink guy knows caffeine, but definitely not the news or home retailing industries. ShopHQ is trying to disguise their GOTB sale on their website as a spring savings event, no refunds for anything you buy there, and the WARN notice went out to the state about their Eden Prairie HQ being closed.

Didn't want to update about this until a couple other things were confirmed, but they dropped Spectrum cold on April 1, and did the same to Optimum in February to try to shift live product demos to Instagram and TikTok, which...you're stuck with them on a cable channel lineup, but you can just block them and move on if they're annoying or irrelevant in your feeds.

The younger ShopLC (The former Liquidation Channel) just opened a new facility in the Austin area and is strong (tariffs pending) and doing better than QVC/HSN, while ShopHQ is fatally done. Never thought any of that would happen.

John Wheeler is only the second chief Meteorologist that WDAY-TV Fargo has ever had.

Come May 16th, they'll have to look for a third once John decides to enter a new phase after 40 years there... retirement.

Beat me to it! John has become legendary in Fargo-Moorhead! Unlikely they find someone willing to make the area their entire career. (Although it is a fun market for forecasting!)

Lauryn Ricketts,  who left WRC-TV in 2022 to fufill military wife duties in Europe, has moved back to America, and is apparently back at the station:

edit: Here she is on air today:
