To clarify his post above... WFIE launched a new brand at 12 Noon today. Except... its not a new brand. Temporary? Maybe, but currently unsure.

I checked Zeam and the later 4:00, 5:00, and 6:00 p.m. newscasts... it still goes by 14 News, so I wouldn't go full gorilla on this change just yet.

It's a 30 Minute Weather Show.

WXIX just refreshed their 24/7 streaming weather channel to include GrayONE graphics.

These graphics are not over the air just yet in their newscasts, but it could be a tease that WXIX could be one of the next stations to receive the GrayONE look overall. Stay tuned.

Besides KYTV/KSPR, are there any other stragglers out there that haven't converted to a Gray package of any kind?

(There may be a Quincy station or two out there, and stations like WHNS that use the package that GrayOne is based off of under Meredith)

KY3 looks the same as it did 2015, when they were still owned by Schurz...

I'm trying to remember if this was a look-alike package, or the Giant Octopus one that WBNS had several years earlier?

Here is KXII’s new logo first alert weather branding and GrayOne graphics as of the 4pm newscast they haven’t aired the new logo or full graphics (only a few on the weather segment) but have changed them on the website kxii.com. Well tomorrow is the date of the debut of the new logo and GrayOne graphics.

Technically, the new logo revives the 1992 WKRC-style “12”.

I do know GrayONE is coming later this year/early next year.

And just like that, KOTA is using GreyONE Weather graphics... Full flip imminent?

KOLN/KGIN/KSNB/KNOP continue to get new graphics and refreshes, while avoiding GrayOne. They posted a shoutout to their graphic artist. Weather and Sports segments have all got new or refreshed graphics in the last 2-3 months and can be seen on their recordings.

Are the ex-Hoak stations capable of GrayOne? Or do they have system issues that preclude such?

WYMT got it at 11PM tonight.

Believe this is the soft-launch to coincide with the live newscast they did in downtown Hazard in celebration of the station's 40th anniversary (actually Sunday). They were back to the previous look for the morning news, but I'm told the full launch isn't far off.

I think they did a great job incorporating the yellow/goldenrod elements with the blue the station has long loved, with the gold hearkening back to the sun rising over the mountains that was a longtime element of their logo from sign-on through 2015.

I have a friend who works at an Ex-Hoak station. They are still on XPression and GrayONE is not supported. They will be upgrading to VIZ sometime next year.

The Friday 11pm did include GrayONE so that's interesting (after a quick check). Friday also went a full day with the old look, but then switched to GrayONE again just for 11pm.

Its probably a soft-launch, as you said, for now on just one newscast, considering weather and sports graphics have already morphed into GrayONE as well.

I wonder if this is the same issue stations like WLOX have, even though they were ex-Raycom.

Instead of going GrayOne a few years back, they just switched to another old Gray package when they upgraded their set.

The irony is that they were a Liberty station before that, and they were legendary for their standardization of everything at the time....
