  1. He has some nerve pulling that ...and to think I went to bat for that (Williams) guy.

  2. It's also silly because WXYZ is one of their original stations. Scripps would be insane to sell off one of the originals. Not to mention they love ABC. They'd more likely sell of some NBC and CBS stations.

  3. That sounds interesting. There have been times when both of the morning people have filled in in the evenings. Megan’s a good fit. I found it odd that she would leave a coanchor job at WMAR, to go do some PR, and come back and basically be an in studio reporter (but let’s be honest the PR gig was just a job during a non compete - she was there for seven months). Either Scripps wasn’t renewing her contract/paying enough or WBAL pays a lot more for a breaking news anchor vs a coanchor at WMAR.

  4. That theme use was discovered after I audited DeWolfe, so it makes sense that I wouldn't have caught it then. I'm not familiar with that disc. Some of Pathfinder sounds familiar, too...

  7. KFSM has signed a lease for a new building in Johnson, Ark., between Fayetteville and Springdale. The operations are currently split between sites in Fort Smith and a shopping mall in Fayetteville, 60 miles apart. https://talkbusiness.net/2018/02/kfsm-channel-5-building-new-headquarters-in-northwest-arkansas/

  9. Since we're talking about television on Wyoming, I made this color coded map showing which TV market each county is currently assigned. Key: Red = Cheyenne DMA 197 Green = Casper DMA 198 Orange = Denver DMA 17 Blue = Rapid City DMA 170 Purple = Billings DMA 167 Gold = Idaho Falls DMA 162 Pink = Salt Lake City DMA 30 The reason I made this is to see whether the Cheyenne and Casper should merge to create one Wyoming centric market. I just wonder if it's feasible for the Denver market counties to be annexed to create such a market. Don't get me started on Sheridan County being an exclave of the Rapid City DMA, or that the Cheyenne is an emclave of the Denver DMA.

  10. Seems like they can promote from within. Pair Deborah Weiner with Stan Stovall, and pair Andre Hepkins with Lisa Robinson. Stan & Deborah can do 5&11, while Andre & Lisa handle 6&10, and morning team of Jason & Mindy can handle noon. Or Stan & Deborah can handle 6/10/11, while Andre & Lisa handle noon/5.

  12. KSTP anchor Chris Egert is recovering from a partial amputation he had in December, and has already received his partial prosthetic leg. Egert's decision to undergo amputation pertains to years of ankle pain, what seems to be an atypical reason for one.

  16. In Nebraska, everything west of the Sioux City and Omaha markets should be part of a single Lincoln-North Platte-Kearney market. The North Platte DMA would be eliminated.

  21. Personally when Ernie leaves I hope they go back to a traditional newscast. There's way they're surviving with the type of newscast they're doing. The only reason peoplle are probably watching is for Ernie
