    As I'm sure both of you know, those are hold-outs from the legacy Gannett days... hell, right before the rainbow blocks in WTSP's opening sequence, you can still see them using the old graphics for the sponsor mention. I like the KING cuts. But I just can't see any of them fitting those London stations.

    If it were me, all of the Lone Star stations (both ex-Belo and ex-London) should use the version WFAA is using.

    Looks more Gannett-ized than a substantial change from their previous logo iteration, especially with the color bars. Looks nice nonetheless.

    Considering that This is Home is their mothership overlord theme corprorate branding, the most likely and obvious answer is yes. The better question would be, will the LSG group use similar cuts to try and all brand as one unit (like the KING group does). Also, Al-SA-TX, any word on any improvements/additions to TXCN with the addition of more resources?

    the myfoxzone domain is leased from Fox, so it remains to be seen if it stays. based on the domain whois info, it expires in july of this year, so there is at least a possibility of Fox not renewing it for Gannett's use.

    And to bring the discussion full circle, that will be an important thought as G3 has to incorporate those strict Fox standards into their first FOX affiliates, KXVA and KIDY.

    The Breaking News one I saw as well. It actually reminds me, and looks very similar to, CNN's Breaking News stinger.

    ...except they can't. Per the contract: In essence, ABC wants all affiliates to be semi-O&Os, just without the network having to operate the stations.

    Part of the affiliation contract the stations have with ABC require "prominent cobranding" with the network, including adding the ABC logo element at their graphics refresh. Because we know that the G-Team is going to refresh the graphics when they roll out This Is Home, they are now required to add that ABC logo. (The one I linked to is KIII's London contract from 2011. I'm like 99% sure nothing has changed except the reimbursement rates.)

    Yeah, that is visually acceptable. LOL.

    Never mind; Gannett just executed one in October, meaning they will update the logo to use the ABC button, per the terms of the Affiliate agreement. London did have one for them from 2011, but they didn't have to add the logo unless they did a graphic update.

    The Without ABC is probably my favorite, and the one I can see in my head the most on animation. Anyone know if they are under a recent ABC affiliation agreement -- I think those are the ones that require the co-branding.

    They switched this weekend. I haven't seen anyone with screen grabs/youtube of it, but it was confirmed earlier in this thread.
