  1. ABC 7 and ABC 7-60 AM. Yeah.
  2. This is not television but still relevant to the International scene nonetheless and this caught me off guard while looking up CBC stuff on Wikipedia. Apparently, CBC Radio 2 has now become CBC Music. https://cbchelp.cbc.ca/hc/en-ca/articles/360000745054-Radio-2-is-changing-names-What-you-need-to-know-
  3. Oh wow okay, dropping Indie status.
  4. Airing a 24/7 stream of Stadium or airing selected games at times?
  5. I love Heartland Media but this makes me want to hate them, even though I don't want to. Using very old Nexstar graphics with cheap logo making, that sucks.
  6. KGW had the only 7pm news in Portland with LIVE at 7:00. Now, its Tonight with Cassidy and no longer covering local news at that time. In other words, TEGNA-itis has kicked into full gear:
  7. Marissa Sarbak, who anchored local news for some stations across the country at INN in Arkansas (including WGFL CBS and WNBW NBC right here in Gainesville) and was partnered with Scott Beadle, is leaving to join the News 12 Networks.
  8. I would love to see more opens from this era. Linda... we miss you. The golden standard of journalism in Oklahoma but I'm glad she's enjoying her retirement.
  9. Telemundo is on SiriusXM. Yes, the first television network to be available on satellite radio. First before ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, The CW and even Univision and UniMas. Telemundo is available on Channel 469 and does air all of Telemundo's programs and sports events.
  10. Well... that goes my list on my thread in the breakroom section.
  11. Rosemary Barton can't do Power and Politics anymore on CBC-NN because she's now doing The National on CBC Television. So let's meet Vassy Kapelos. She worked for CITV Edmonton and CFSK Saskatoon. She used to work for Global National's Ottawa bureau chief and was the host of The West Block. Keywords... USED TO and WAS. Vassy starts hosting Power and Politics in March: http://www.cbc.ca/news/entertainment/kapelos-p-and-p-1.4537311
  12. I’m still baffling. I still don’t understand why he would leave 20 years of KGW for a bigger market at WGN. I can only think of TEGNAitis as to blame.
  13. Oh well. Yet, WSWG doesn't do anything because everything is done at WCTV.
  14. Highly unimpressed. Is the studio that small?
  15. I truly didn't see this coming. Joe's been there for two decades at KGW and is leaving to take a risk at a much bigger station in a much bigger market.
  16. I didn't know that about him but, Gray stations are really good and do excellently well. Plus, I live in a Gray market now with WCJB.
  17. McKinnon quality folks.
  18. That'd be a good one. Maybe call the station "KX 9" after the Charter cable slot or even "KX 2" for the 2 in 27. I just think that if CBS does go on Channel 27, then it needs a new nickname because "KX 4" will be no good anymore (since KRDK took it).
  19. It could even give The CW its own main signal too. Question: Will this lead Gray to eventually purchase KCPO-LP too and make it a sister station to KSFY?
  20. Except it won't happen until after the Olympics now.
  21. Is there video of this? I feel like this would be a funny segment.
  22. I know but what I'm saying is that its currently in its second season and was renewed for a third.
  23. That new show is not new... its called This is Us and is in its second season plus probably renewed for a third.
  24. That won’t be the only news addition taking place in Kansas City. Spectrum News Kansas City is coming this year. That, plus Spectrum will launch other news channels in Ohio, Wisconsin, Kentucky (even though it already has one for Louisville and Lexington) and finally... long overdue... Los Angeles. There’s a thread devoted to this already.
  25. Finally! A smart decision from WGCL has finally been made. Swann has been fired. http://www.ftvlive.com/sqsp-test/2018/1/29/atlanta-anchor-is-fired
