  1. Really? I would like to hear him in Spanish then.
  2. WJZY Charlotte gets an extra hour at 5 p.m. starting in September.
  3. Nope... not anymore. Now, WBNA repeats the previous day's edition of Hey Kentucky from WLEX at 12:30 p.m., the same day edition at 10:00 p.m. and a repeat of their 6:00 p.m. news at 6:30 p.m. I just looked up the listings.
  4. They are not shutting it down. Their 10pm news is still quite well, even if sometimes they're being beaten by WPVI's news on WPHL.
  5. It is the first instance that I can recall that a major station is producing a local newscast for a religious station. This does make WLJC recognizable now, even though its a religious station.
  6. Milwaukee PBS got rid of their Traffic Channel on 36.6 in January after the spectrum reshuffle. Since early February, they've re-added the traffic portion but now on Channel 36.3, rotating with weather on the new "Milwaukee PBS Weather and Traffic" channel.
  7. Despite me being from Florida and don't have any connections to Chicago (despite just one visit to O'Hare and nothing more), I tried out the podcast. Not too bad and have subscribed it to give it more of a listen.
  8. The old theme made me hum to the theme. Bad part on UNC-TV's end. Its okay if they kept it but with new graphics, but to just replace it entirely is just wrong.
  9. Well congrats to them. El Paso is one of those "nothing happening" kind of media markets, considering that they are DMA #93. I think KTSM should be second now since KDBC/KFOX are probably in the dust.
  10. This is no April Fool's Day joke. There are rumors that Sam Kouvaris may be forced out from WJXT. I call him "The Voice of Jacksonville Sports," considering his longevity at WJXT (since 1981) and I see it whenever I watch WJXT here in Gainesville. http://www.ftvlive.com/sqsp-test/2018/3/30/out-the-door-in-jacksonville
  11. Hold on a second because I am seeing the TV listings and it shows that it will be a rebroadcast of its 6:00 p.m. news. Any way to decipher this with anything that would showcase something else?
  12. So you're probably hearing this a lot... "I'm (blank), filling in for (blank)."
  13. Virgin Media Television will soon be a real channel, but it will be nothing new. It will be a rebranding of TV3 Ireland. https://www.rte.ie/news/business/2018/0109/932030-tv3-to-rebrand-as-virgin-media-television-this-autumn/
  14. There's no way those ratings will pick back up now if they're airing those "must-runs."
  15. Well if you think about it, Nexstar has been renaming its websites after call letters now so WOODTV.com is not going away, anytime soon, neither don't expect MyWestMichigan.com or WestMichiganNOW.com to come on board.
  16. It probably will be. It could be too. All I know is that the WFAA logo look that we've all known will be no more. TEGNA likes to change it up.
  17. In other words, no longer airing in D.C. but in Richmond and in Charlottesville maybe? Because MHz Networks said that they'll no longer be available to the D.C. market.
  18. I'm getting back on-topic now... WNVC and WNVT Channel 30 are scheduled to go off-air April 1st. MHz Worldview will remain on cable in D.C., but the OTA signals and the international news networks carried on the subchannels are scheduled to go off air as well. https://mhznetworks.com/hello-world/
  19. We're getting off topic here now.
  20. I just realized that the first clip is mines. :-)
  21. In other words, Wyoming PBS is gaining a TV station.
  22. KB was a Granite turned Scripps station.
  23. And they couldn't think of OEM Radio. Interesting.
  24. ABC 7 and ABC 7-60 AM. Yeah.
  25. This is not television but still relevant to the International scene nonetheless and this caught me off guard while looking up CBC stuff on Wikipedia. Apparently, CBC Radio 2 has now become CBC Music. https://cbchelp.cbc.ca/hc/en-ca/articles/360000745054-Radio-2-is-changing-names-What-you-need-to-know-
