  1. Is that the Karen Adams who later worked for WPRI?
  2. That's incredible. You won't find teams last that long.
  3. Just hope that Corus ain't watching the program.
  4. Notice something familiar with the logo of that program? Something related to north of the border?
  5. Damn, about time. That deal took too long to complete.
  6. I've always been interested in the AFN operations... both TV and radio. Check it out, its pretty interesting.
  7. Fair to say that then. And I respect that. Unrelated to that... WCJB's Tracy West has left the station after just a year and a half. She has been replaced by Haley Wade, who now anchors The Morning Edition and its news at noon.
  8. Because its a Puerto Rican station. Duh.
  9. Holy bleep. I can't believe I'm saying this but... PBS is back in Puerto Rico! For those who don't know, WMTJ Channel 40 was taken off air due to Hurricane Maria and went off-air forever. However, according to Wikipedia, on Wednesday, December 20th, WMTJ returned to the air via Liberty Puerto Rico (a cable provider there) and some of PBS' programming was seen on Channels 3 and 67 and in HD on channels 203 and 267. On Monday, January 2nd, just months after the supposed farewell to the station, WMTJ actually resumed regular over-the-air broadcasting operations via WSTE-DT (Teleisla) and can be seen on the same channel 40.1 from the transmitter located in Aguas Buenas. In other words, that transmitter is now home to both WSTE and WMTJ, even though they broadcast on different digital channels (WSTE is 7 and WMTJ is 16 but is moving to 15). So yes, PBS is back in Puerto Rico. Wonderful news for a country still reeling from Hurricane Maria. DISCLAIMER: I'm half Puerto Rican so I had to share this and this is wonderful news for public broadcasting.
  10. It will become the most watched TEGNA station in its group.
  11. Thank GOD TEGNAitis hasn't hit 13WMAZ. They need to stay the fuck away from TEGNAitis and maybe, just maybe, TEGNA would do something right here by leaving them alone.
  12. I hate Mark Hyman and his views and his must-run segment. I've always wanted that to go off-air... But not this way. Not when he's suffering from a brain tumor. I wish him all the best in his recovery. I don't wish on that to anyone, no matter how evil they may be.
  13. For those who don't know... K-Cen and K-Aggies
  14. Fifteen years later, its on Channel 43. Fifteen years later, its on Channel 50.
  15. In other words, Ann still has some positive vibes about NBC, at least with some employees.
  16. This will be interesting.
  17. Starting the week of January 24th, 2018, the small DMA #200 market of Ottumwa, Iowa and Kirksville, Mo. will finally have all four major networks when KYOU will launch NBC on subchannel 15.2 This is what the market will have once KYOU has NBC: KTVO has ABC on 3.1 and CBS on 3.2 KYOU has FOX on 15.1 and will soon have NBC on 15.2 The market has PBS through digital translators from Iowa Public Television. It even has a CW cable-only affiliate from "KWOT" (The CW Plus) http://www.kyoutv.com/home/2018/01/08/kyou-nbc-release/
  18. Hahaha. Amor para Mark en WGN Telenovelas.
  19. Two things I learned today... One: Bloomberg TV Canada shut down back in October 2017 and was quickly replaced by Bloomberg Television in the states. Two: BNN is expected to rebrand as "BNN Bloomberg," creating a new partnership between Bell Media and Bloomberg and overtaking the previous one from Channel Zero. Also, Bell Media will have the rights to Bloomberg Radio through iHeartRadio Canada. https://www.bnn.ca/bnn-to-rebrand-as-bnn-bloomberg-through-new-bell-media-bloomberg-media-partnership-1.961761
  20. *cough* KCRG-TV still uses it. *cough*
  21. Actually, Gainesville doesn't have it from WOGX. One of its subs carries ION Television.
  22. Maybe not, but it could become 46 Eyewitness News, since nobody else in the market is using it.
  23. So Azteca had a very short stint with WGEN? If what your saying is right, a much shorter stint than when WJAN/WFUN had MundoFOX?
  24. We'll Meet Again is hosted by Ann Curry and is coming to PBS on January 23rd at 8pm ET/7pm CT. In other words... YES. Ann Curry has moved on.
  25. Will this mean that Dickerson will do six days a week, including continuing to do Face The Nation or will he give that up to do CBS This Morning?
