Well that's a Tallahassee station first of all so there's no way it'll reach Gainesville (and it doesn't). And maybe fight for the FOX affiliation away from WTWC or take The CW affiliation from WTLF and move it there. Otherwise, no other options in my book.

Yes. Except for WSVN which has 7 Skyforce, WFOR, WTVJ and I believe even WLTV and WSCV share WPLG's Sky 10. I know how you feel. I watch WSVN all the time and it is the highest rated of the English in Miami but overall is #2 behind WSCV. I hate WPLG for this reason that they're trying to copy everything that WSVN does. It bothers me. The only good thing that WPLG has is that they have DC and Havana bureaus that not even WSVN has. The rest is just copied from WSVN except for the set.

NewsActive3 has never uploaded two clips of those kinds of montages on the same day. Kinda a historic day since I always like those clips and I enjoy them very well.

I was in Gainesville this past weekend. The old logo was in use on Sunday's 11pm news. By the time I woke up on Monday to see the morning update, the new logo was in place. So it's been since Monday that WCJB 20 has had a new logo.

I hate that package. Its so bland. Even ThatsTV in the UK use it for their regional "Headline News" bulletins because they're so cheap to not make graphics of its own.

I used LinkedIn to look this up... Jim Brosemer worked at WTVJ from 1973 to 1989. Afterwards, worked for WPTV from 1989 to 2000. Currently, he's a professor at the University of Denver.

Ehh... the intro is what made me barf. Reminds me of WMGT and their god awful looks. The package is great but the intro should be changed. That part sucked.

It looks like CityNews' relaunch outside Toronto will be outshot by CTV's announcement that it will expand its local news to 5:00 p.m. across all markets in Canada with the exception to Toronto. In Toronto, CFTO will air CP24 LIVE at 5:00 and CP24 LIVE at 5:30 while continuing its CTV Toronto News at 6:00. In other words, CP24 the first hour, CTV Toronto the second and BOTH will air BOTH hours so CP24's LIVE at 5:00/5:30 will continue as well.
