Jillian Mele’s first report was featured on the 5p newscast this evening.

Are either Erin O’Hearn or Jeff Chirico still employed by the station? Though both are still on the bios page, neither seems to have been on air for several months.

Matt Pellman is not doing the evening traffic reports anymore. He's moving to mornings full-time. I assume Jessica Boyington would take the evening slot?

Did they announce this on air?

Per Jessica’s Facebook post, she will be doing evening traffic along with her Top 6 segment Friday mornings.

Sorry for the late reply, I just saw this. Jeff Chirico's LinkedIn says he left in November, and is now a realtor full-time. Erin O'Hearn's page still says she is there, though.

Gray Hall is Sharrie's new 10pm Co-anchor.

Gray Hall - Facebook Post

Wow, surprised they passed over Walter and Christie. Wonder who will take over Gray’s spot on weekends. They don’t really have any male anchor candidates waiting in the wings. Will miss Gray starting off the Saturday newscast with “a pleasant good morning to you” and his banter with Chris.

Also, I feel like this decision is incredibly shortsighted. With rumors of Nexstar buying the CW, which might lead to an affiliation swap with 57, and the rumor of them placing NewsNation in the 10pm hour, the WPVI-produced newscast may not be for the long term.

I guess that's to allow Jessica to present her Top 6 segment live on the morning show and not have her working two separate day parts.

Sunday night’s newscasts had new openings with talent’s names. Interestingly, the names mentioned were Brittany, Jamie, and Walter. So Jamie must now be doing weekend sports permanently.

Also, some interesting anchoring over the weekend:

Saturday AM: Bob Brooks & Christie Ileto

Sunday AM: Jaclyn Lee & Nydia Han

Maggie Kent subbed both evenings for Walter.

Not a fan of the Gray/Sharrie pairing. They don’t gel well together. Surprised they don’t utilize him for earlier fill-ins.
