danderson500 31 Posted September 12, 2016 Posted September 12, 2016 FOX had a good day in terms of games, with several of their games being close. CBS was hurt by the fact that it was FOX's turn to show a DH, so they couldn't show the SD-KC game when it went to OT.
A3N 1002 Posted September 12, 2016 Posted September 12, 2016 It looks like they're doing a piecemeal graphics update. The studio look is all new (except for L3s) and that uses DIN too. I noticed that on the baseball side. The pregame show graphics have some graphics that are glossier than others. Same outline/design, but like I said..Glossier. I was hoping they would at least add the team logo for this upcoming NFL Season.
Georgie56 3333 Posted September 15, 2016 Posted September 15, 2016 Nothing new for CBS Thursday Night Football.
Georgie56 3333 Posted November 3, 2016 Posted November 3, 2016 Watching NFL Network now, and it looks like the NBC half of TNF will have a different graphics package from CBS. It has some elements from SNF and the current NBC Sports pack, but is more flashier.
WCAUTVNBC10 415 Posted November 3, 2016 Posted November 3, 2016 It actually reminds me a lot of the last NBC Sports look
Samantha 2905 Posted November 4, 2016 Posted November 4, 2016 First impression: an ugly variation on an excellent package. The killer is the typeface.
Georgie56 3333 Posted November 4, 2016 Posted November 4, 2016 And that "TOUCHDOWN" animation looks so cartoonish
Viper550 292 Posted November 4, 2016 Author Posted November 4, 2016 That gigantic TOUCHDOWN TAMPA BAY graphic was absolutely obnoxious. And that music? Well, it has a very 1980's vibe to it. Either that or pop.
NEOMatrix 1307 Posted November 22, 2016 Posted November 22, 2016 I wonder if NBC is going to use the TNF graphics or the SNF graphics. Personally, I would prefer if they went SNF since the TNF graphics look so over the top and cartoonish.
WCAUTVNBC10 415 Posted November 22, 2016 Posted November 22, 2016 I wonder if NBC is going to use the TNF graphics or the SNF graphics. Personally, I would prefer if they went SNF since the TNF graphics look so over the top and cartoonish. The Thanksgiving game is part of the SNF package so they will use traditional NBC Sports/SNF look.
Viper550 292 Posted December 2, 2016 Author Posted December 2, 2016 TNF's back and apparently they were using the Law and Order theme music at one point?
24994J 5657 Posted December 2, 2016 Posted December 2, 2016 TNF's back and apparently they were using the Law and Order theme music at one point? Yes, they were. I only heard it once, because I didn't watch much, but it was going into a break while the refs were reviewing a play. Whether they played it for that reason, or it was totally random, I don't know. I'd lean toward the former, though.
Viper550 292 Posted December 23, 2016 Author Posted December 23, 2016 Was this meant to be used on Saturday?
rkolsen 1692 Posted December 23, 2016 Posted December 23, 2016 Was this meant to be used on Saturday? Don't know. But is NBC producing Sunday's game as they have a SNF game later in the evening? It appears the game is only airing locally on WPXI and WBAL with national coverage on NFL Network.
Spring Rubber 717 Posted December 23, 2016 Posted December 23, 2016 Saturday's game is produced by CBS; Sunday's game is produced by NBC.
