For all the instability surrounding Scripps, KNXV (ABC15 Arizona) seems to be handling it well even with the recent departure of Katie Raml.

Here's a retirement that I didn't know about:

 

Todd and Jacqueline Karli have retired from WBOC-TV after nearly a decade there. They retired at the end of the 4pm newscast.

Another longstanding era in Green Bay news is coming to an end. Juli Buehler, news director at WLUK for the last 30 years, is retiring. She had actually announced her retirement back in March, but the station aired a tribute to her just minutes ago.

Chief Meteorologist Mark Henderson is out after 22 years.

From WABC-TV: Bill Ritter takes one more step towards retirement, announcing tonight (Mon 6/2) that he's stepping down as 5:00p co-anchor. He will continue to appear on Eyewitness News at 6:00p.

 

Mike Marza, who replaced Ritter at 11:00 not long ago, adds the 5:00 starting tomorrow (Tues 6/3).

WDAY-TV has found their replacement for John Wheeler as Chief Meteorologist...

 

... its Jesse Ritka. For those of you who've been on the forum for so long, she used to work at WTMJ-TV Milwaukee for a decade before joining WDAY-TV shortly before COVID took over.

 

Now, she gets the Chief gig full-time and leading a weather team of six which is rare for a market that size.

For the next two days before his retirement from WTHR, Chuck Lofton will be delivering the weather... from the Chuck Lofton Studio as WTHR has commenced as of today.

 

Chuck retires on Friday after a 40-year run that also has included gifted signed jerseys from the Colts (signed by the late Jim Irsay), Pacers (signed by Tyrese Haliburton), and Fever (signed by Caitlin Clark) plus an invitation to join the Pacers' upcoming (maybe) Championship Parade.
