Wouldn’t be surprised if it’s WNCN is where she goes.

Some news involving New York's Capitol Region (both articles from The Albany Times-Union, meaning they are paywalled)...

Seven years at WTEN, four as Nexstar's New York State political reporter, and Jamie DeLine is leaving for a new job in Raleigh.

https://www.timesunion.com/kristi/article/political-reporter-jamie-deline-leaving-wten-new-21331751.php

Also, Meteorologist Reid Kisselback will be leaving WNYT at the end of the week. He, too, has accepted a new job in Raleigh.

https://www.timesunion.com/kristi/article/meteorologist-reid-kisselback-leaving-wnyt-21331416.php

So what's the connection here if both are taking new jobs in Raleigh? Well, actually, they're married to each other and are expecting their first child together, a baby girl, this winter so congrats to them on that front.

Albany has seen such heavy turnover. The pay in that market is a big part of it, on top of reporters wanting to go to a more active city.

Former WILX Met. Colton Cichoracki has joined WXMI Fox 17 in Grand Rapids.  Interestingly enough, they seem to also have another new meteorologist, AJ Walker.  Chief Met. Kevin Craig has been off-air due to "personal reasons" for a couple months now.  I don't know if they're wanting to go back up to 5 mets again or if Craig is leaving.

UPDATE: Chief Met Kevin Craig is coming back soon according to Morning Anchor Janice Allen... AJ Walker was just a fill-in from WSYM Fox 47 in Lansing.  WXMI has been running on 2 mets since Reece Cole's exit in December.  Colton is also starting on-air soon.

Here's something new, interesting, and unique.

Entravision has partnered with Hemisphere Media Group to launch... WAPA Orlando.

Yes, the same brand that gives you WAPA-TV and Puerto Rican flair to bring its news and programming to a growing Puerto Rican population in Central Florida, launched yesterday on WOTF Channel 26 (replacing Grit), which will be complete with locally-targeted newscasts (NotiCentro Orlando at morning and midday at launch, with evening and late night newscasts to come over time; produced in San Juan), and focused on Orlando's Puerto Rican population.

This is a huge deal, especially for me, since I'm half Puerto Rican. This also gives another option for Orlando since WTMO carries several segments during their newscasts focused on the latest news from Puerto Rico as well, and frequently feature reports from sister station WKAQ-TV at times.

Puerto Rico is becoming more represented in the Orlando TV market, and I'm quite happy about this.

Great timing for this too.

This comes on the heels of WKAQ-TV launching a FAST channel for the mainland U.S., appropriately titled Telemundo Puerto Rico.

NYC market vet Craig Treadway has parted ways with WPIX, where he has spent most of the quarter-century as part of the PIX11 Morning News team. Treadway was at WNYW for a time prior to that.

Another Houston TV legend is about to retire as Shern Min Chow is leaving KHOU next month

Here is Shern-Min Chow's final goodbye from earlier this week. This is not my video, btw. The TV signal does go in and out at times, especially towards the end where it mattered the most. Regardless, here's another goodbye to a Houston institution.

FTV Live is reporting Nancy Chen formerly a

correspondent for CBS News is coming to KGO-TV.

She is Reggie Aqui’s replacement for ABC7 Mornings. She starts March 2.

Reggie left at the end of September after 10 years at the station which was a shock to many viewers here in the Bay Area. He recently has been doing some work with The SF Standard so it looks like he’s still staying in SF.

After four years at WCTV, most of that time doing mornings on Daybreak and The Good Morning Show, and just days after celebrating a birthday, Madison Glaser is leaving the station at the end of the week on Friday to join sister WWSB Sarasota as the new weeknight anchor at 4:00, 5:00, and 7:00 pm.

Please send your best wishes over to WJXT's Bruce Hamilton.

He has announced that he's fighting cancer and will be in and out of the station from time to time.

He celebrates 25 years with WJXT this month.

After an amazing 38 year run at WESH 2 and 45 overall in TV news, the great Michelle Meredith is hanging up her reporting duties for retirement.

In a little over a month, she'll enter retirement but not before one more WESH 2 Fat Tuesday party today in honor of Mardi Gras. She's a Louisiana native so this means everything to her to bring a slice of Louisiana pride home to her for one more time.

What a wonderful story this is for Elena LaQuatra.

She's the current noon anchor at WTAE but is 100% deaf. She needs hearing aids, after suffering from bacterial meningitis as a toddler, and using Cochlear implants, to hear her colleagues in the newsroom, as well as her family and husband.

That has never stopped her from really further achieving much higher goals. I mean, she's an anchor af WTAE after all, but now this story will get even better for her.

Starting March 2nd, LaQuatra is taking over for legendary anchor Michelle Wright (retiring Feb. 27th) on their morning news alongside another two longtime WTAE veterans Janelle Hall and Meteteorologist Ashley Dougherty.

Just because your deaf or autistic (like me) or blind or suffer from any kind of disability, DO NOT let that ever stop you from achieving what you can achieve. Elena LaQuatra's story is point proven, and IMHO, this is truly wonderful.

EDIT: Unrelated to that...

Kevin Lemanowicz is the ONLY Chief Meteorologist WFXT has ever had in their current news operation (dating back to 1996).

For the first time ever, WFXT will be having a NEW Chief as Kevin has decided to leave next week on February 27th.

Rumor has it is that he couldn't reach a contract agreement with WFXT.
