This thread is about Tucker's dismissal, any pending litigation, his next career move, the network's plan for the time slot, and other related matters. If it further devolves into largely unrelated political matters, we'll shut this down. There's literally anywhere else on the rest of the internet to discuss and/or rant about such matters.

Tucker will either start his own youtube/social media channel, go to OAN or Newsmax, or we'll see if News Nation is willing to take someone as polarizing as him.

As for Don Lemon, I'm not sure if he's that popular to command a social media following. Maybe BET might be interested in him for network coverage of political matters (unless they opt to similcast CBSN like they did for the Chauvin verdict).

Tucker Carlson has an official replacement in his old timeslot - Jesse Watters.

(Laura Ingraham and Greg Gutfeld will move to earlier timeslots [the latter's to the former's] .)

Any bets on how long it takes Watters to become radioactive? That's not just Carlson's old timeslot -- it's O'Reilly's, too.

Watters started out on O'Reilly as a correspondent/PA, so it's more of an ouroboros where nothing has really changed at all and FNC decided not to be adventurous and go with anyone outside of even the prime block, but who was in the timeslot already to start out with. This is basically what would've eventually happened as a succession plan if Bill had stayed with the network and been a proper gentleman.

It was pretty well expected that you could've bet on it, but still disappointing.

Watters may be the dumbest and most lightweight host Fox has (and that's saying a lot).

One of his claims to fame seems to be having an absurd anti-Asian streak, which is, especially for me, enough not to like him. He’s also a remarkably unserious commentator, even by the standards of this particular network.
