The difference between 2020, when everything reality with a cop was pulled from television, allegedly never to return, is now very obvious...now Free TV is coming out with an entire subchannel network called Busted...it's another A&E library rerun mill with COPS, JailWildest Police Videos and all of A&E's various Cam and Wars shows.

I thought that Pictionary was doing well in the ratings I'm surprised that got cancelled truth be told I think that WOTV will just air of the newer game shows come fall of 2025. I'm not surprised by Person, Place, Or Thing getting cancelled I didn't think it was going to last all that long as that was aired in the graveyard on FOX17.

Dish Nation I was quite surprised it lasted as long as it did truth be told I thought it be a goner years ago but I guess it had a niche following why it stayed on for 10+ years in syndication. As for the bubble shows that aren't TMZ, TMZ Live, & Sherri WBD shows that will stay is Extra since that is lead in on most FOX O&O's for TMZ & JHud. I think True Crime News could very well be the odd show out I hope that will be renewed that one is truly on the bubble in my opinion.

ARC-WMI airs Song on Sun at 7PM & Rock Review 7:30PM I think both maybe produce from Sinclair at least Rock & Review is anyway.

Not surprised that Tamron Hall was renewed for a season 7 kinda surprised that it has always been on the lower networks here in West Michigan CW7/ARC for 5 seasons and CW6 getting it this past fall kinda surprised that Wood TV, WWMT when Sinclair had it didn't put Tamron on where Dr. Phil has been for years after that went after the show ended in 2023 in my opinion etc.

Meanwhile, Dr. Phil (reruns) is exiting broadcast syndie after this season. All eppys will be exclusive to Merit TV. It appears the said reruns will end on OWN as well.

So Dr. Phil is clinically stupid; that revenue and those reruns staying on the air from all that syndication and Pluto FAST is likely the only thing keeping Merit Street on the air and why he still has notability and not that 'whatever happened to' status right now. Hopefully they keep some FAST deals otherwise this could be a disaster.

Oh well.  He had a good run before he went nanners.

Then again, he could fall upward into some government role like Dr. Oz....

Actually, no. Reruns will stay on OWN plus on Pluto TV.

Not only that, the network has expanded to Canada.

Still, at least Dr. Phul-Ovit is off of broadcast stations.

Yeah, thank god for that. These reruns shouldn't be on broadcast TV anymore. His show has become more trash TV and political talking than intended. I think stations that carry his program could use a better hour for more local programming or other new syndicated programming that may come out later.

Extra is renewed for season 32 ...

possibly without Billy Bush as host.

https://deadline.com/2025/03/extra-renewed-season-32-billy-bush-host-returning-leaving-1236329140/

Meanwhile its sister show True Crime News is one and done as part of a secret experiment to see how generic a TV show title, drafting off a better show's reporting, and how little promotion you can get away with to try to get a second just as anonymous season.

Jaleel White-hosted The Flip Side rolls on for a second season. And The Perfect Line (hosted by Deborah Norville) will launch in the fall.

Not surprised that The Flip Side got renewed since CBSM had another game show The Perfect Line for the fall which will be paired with The Flip side on CBS O&Os indie stations. I think that Billy Bush will remain host of Extra in my opinion unless he doesn't want to be host anymore. As I said that it be one & done for True Crime News once JHud got renewed for a season 4.

Deborah leaving Inside Edition felt imminent. Mary Calvi is hosting most of the times I happen to catch the show.

If Mary Calvi is chosen to replace Deborah, will she be able to balance it with her work at WCBS?

Deborah Norville will be leaving Inside Edition

Jane Pauley and her agent can do the funniest thing ever... (I kid, I kid)

I thought that Deborah was leaving Inside Edition as she is hosting the game show when that got cleared a couple of weeks ago. Plus, Deborah has been taking a lot of breaks these past few years as well she had a great run at Inside Edition which no one will match that 30 years as host of Inside Edition in my opinion.
