NBC isn’t waiting to debut new NFL graphics at Super Bowl LX this year. They will debut them at Sunday night’s Chargers-Patriots Wild Card game, marking the first time this practice has been in use since 2015.

Quote

“The scorebar that you’ll see on Sunday in the Wild Card game will be the scorebar for the Super Bowl,” said Hyland. “I want our team to get a couple of reps with it. Our insert package will also be the DNA of the Super Bowl [package]. The Super Bowl animations and all that will be reserved for Super Bowl Sunday, but I’ve always thought, why save it for the Super Bowl? Let’s get it right for the Super Bowl, not save it for the Super Bowl.”

With the Olympics prep being a focus I can understand why they would do an early intro, so they can focus on improvements before February with these couple of playoff dry-runs. If it's anything like the NBA package I'll be fine with it.

We have a scorebug leak. Looks like it’s going to be in line with the college football/basketball scorebug.

Not so fast, my friends..... According to someone on the Broadcast Plaza Discord, looked like it was someone on Roblox making the scorebug.

Okay, here’s what looks like the true, genuine scorebug, from a satellite feed. Looks like an evolution of the 2022 scorebug.

Looks more like a refresh than a full-on overhaul, and honestly it looks more streamlined. They went through the effort of making unique touchdown animations for every team this season, and those utilize a similar art style/incorporate the "hub" into them, so I wasn't expecting something new unless it were adapted for that.

Looks like they decided to soft-launch the graphics, as a lot of elements from the 2022 pack are still in use. Betting the hard launch of the new package will be at SB LX.

I didn't notice the graphics change for last night looked the same just have to wait until the SB60.

Pregame and some in-game graphics were the same, but the scoreboard & nearly all lower thirds were changed. It's definitely an evolution of the outgoing look, a heavy refresh.

I can't see the images.
