I don’t foresee NBC going “halfway” and cutting sone nights but not all. Do you know how confusing they would be to the viewer? It’s all or nothing.

It appears FOX Weather daily and weekend simulcasts are dropped from FOX duop stations, or at least from WWOR, which usually airs M-F at 10a and Satudays at 10-12p. No word when that happened exactly, but its timeslot is now occupied with L+ O: SVU. I first noticed it on youtubetv listings, later confirmed it on Zap2it. Has anyone else noticed it?

In the last few days, Nexstar and NewsNation have covered debates in Michigan (gubernatorial) and Georgia (senate), with all of the same. It does feel a little extreme the way that Nexstar is going about it, but then again, some of the races have enough shock value (especially with Herschel Walker flashing a badge) to let Nexstar "own it" so it could come back to haunt them, rather than providing a "clean feed" for others to use at their own will.

If NBC really wants to cut an hour, do we really need FOUR hours of Today? Yes, it's news and in the morning, but i'm sure the affiliates wouldn't mind getting an hour or two back in the AM. Maybe ditch the 9am hour and make Hoda & Jenna it's own show. Megyn Kelly should have spelled the end of that timeslot.

You do realize New Amsterdam is on its final season? Dick Wolf would never agree to airing either Chicago PD or L&O:OC on Tuesdays opposite his own shows on CBS.

The first episdoe of the new Showtime series "Let the Right One In" uses a simulated newscast from WCBS.

"It's like playing for the Yankees, here at NewsNation." Maybe the Single-A Tampa Tarpons, at the bottom of the Yankees organization.

I first noticed it Friday at noon. I think the ticker not only looks incredibly ugly but it's also pretty useless. National sports scores, 7-day weather forecasts for different towns in the area (how about more details about the next 24-48 hours for different regions instead?), headlines from the website that are sometimes more clickbaity than informative, etc. Wish they'd redo this so that it looks nicer and has more useful local information. If the ticker is gone, permanently or temporarily, why not use the old bug that has the time and temperature that's actually in alignment with the logo? The current O&O graphics package was always pretty boring but CBS 2 has really looked bad with the sloppy mix with the "CBSN New York" look. I'm hoping the new look that comes is more elegant.

As expected... dead last among all the competition in the demo. And for added paltriness, here's how it looks like in the demo... The Providence Journal has an article on how to watch the Patriots game (Nexstar owns the CBS, FOX and CW affiliates). It is of course behind a pay wall for subscribers only. And Gatehouse Media d/b/a Gannett wonders why folks no longer subscribe to a paper that is 90% the same in every Gannett paper.

Fox reached a last-minute deal with Altice to avoid a blackout. However, Nexstar has yanked its signals off of Fios.
