  1. Mornings, on Good Day Chicago.
  2. It's not. It was out last year. I see you got it from the "On the Move 3/22/16" post. The "On the Move" post tend to sometimes have months old info on there, similar to FTVLive's "Changing Jobs". They must be press releases that are send out by agents on a quarterly basis.
  3. What else would I mean? CBS This Morning started in 2012 and has not had one since it started. What's so difficult to understand?
  4. Surprised CBS hasn't tried to snatch him up as CBS This Morning has never had a weather person. He could rekindle his bromance with Josh then too.
  5. Jim and Jackie must be off as Keith did the 4pm and 5pm with ..... Tracy!!!! He soloed at 6pm. I wonder if Tracy was on in the morning. But I will reiterate how much I love these two together!!! Also, in addition to doing the 4/5/6/11 last M-F and today, Glenn also did the 6/11 on both Saturday and Sunday.
  6. If Ryan Seacrest or Billy Bush are taking over for Matt, you can kiss the ratings goodbye. Neither has any serious news chops to handle that role, not even a little.
  7. Can we please get this back at 6pm please (with the theme music http://www.networknewsmusic.com/wp/the-news-with-brian-williams-msnbc-theme/ )? Brian Williams (along with Chuck Todd, Kate Snow, Andrea Mitchell, Thomas Roberts) has made watching MSNBC tolerable again.
  8. I caught the end of the 9am hour again today and Kornacki was tossing over to Diaz-Balart for the 10am hour. I wonder if this is permanent or if it's just a Wednesday thing (as last time I caught this it was also Wednesday).
  9. NBC10 is short handed anchor-wise and weather people-wise. They are at 7 anchors and 3 weatherpeople. The morning weather person (Bill) is on vacation. The 5pm/11pm weatherperson (Sheena) is filling in in the morning and 11am. The 11am/4pm/6pm person (Glen) was supposed to handle 4pm/5pm/6pm/11pm but got the flu. Doug Kammerer (chief meteorologist at WRC in DC and former WCAU person) filled in Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at 4/5/6/11. Dave today. WCAU is using per diem freelancers for the weekends, and I think Bill is still off next week too. Hopefully Glen's better or we may need Dave Price a few more days. Might I also say DC people were very possessive and upset on Facebook of Doug being loaned out to Philly (Doug is truly awesome!). I quoted the second post because we also have an anchor shortage while WNBC is on a hiring spree. They have 8 weekday anchors possibly 9 if another is brought in to replace Shiba. WRC has 9 weekday anchors. WCAU has 7 TOTAL anchors.
  10. Well, I think Michelle and Karen are per diem where as Doug and Dave are contract employees. Also, Karen and Michelle could've been unavailable. Last weekend there was another per diem person in. 10 only has three contract on-air weather people at the moment, and one is on vacation while the other is sick, and the third can only do so much. 10 is also spread a little thin at the moment on the anchor side as well.
  11. In addition to containing "NBC" in the "CNBC" name, the letters C, N, B, & C stand for Consumer News and Business Channel. So adding the word News or Finance after would either be redundant or not make sense.
  12. I know rkolsen may go crazy when he hears this, but I caught the end of the 9am hour and it seemed that Steve Kornacki was hosting it and was throwing to Jose Diaz-Balart for the 10am hour. Could they be switching things up?
  13. Even if they'd offer him the lead, I think he grew up outside of DC so it'd have to be really enticing for him to leave his hometown.
  14. Glad to see him! One of my all-time favorites!!!
  15. I don't think anyone was trying to sound disrespectful. It sounds like you are equating not agreeing with you to disrespecting you. I apologize if that's what you're feeling, but definitely not the intention. I just don't find what you're saying to have a real chance in happening. Just like when you mentioned WNBC hiring some random reporter out west to be thier main anchor. Could it happen? Yes. Is it likely? No.
  16. If you are saying whatever and cursing you are throwing a temper tantrum. You are getting offended because others don't agree with you. There's nothing wrong with having a difference of opinion (as far out there as that opinion may be which is often the case with anchor shuffling with you). If there are cliques here, I haven't noticed nor am I a part of one.
  17. People? I think one person said it, not people. And why you getting so excited? A3N said he doesn't see that happening and I agreed. No need to throw a temper tantrum.
  18. Agreed... if anything happens at all.
  19. Yes. Diana (who was on at 6/11 with Bill) had expressed a desire to lighten her workload because of family. When the 5pm co-anchor spot opened (with the exit of Rob Hanrahan), they moved Diana to that spot (next to Roz) and hired Liz to sit next to Bill. Then Roz left because she was passed over for 6/11 and was replaced by Sade at 5 (Sade took over the noon from Lori for a short time after being hired but once she got the 5pm noon reverted to Lori). Then in 2011 the 4pm is created with Liz expressing a desire to lessen her hours, so she dropped 11pm for 4pm with Sade picking up 11pm.
  20. WPVI has a way of foreshadowing when an anchor is retiring or leaving. They brought in Eva Pilgrim in December 2012, and was mentioned that she was hired as an anchor, which she didn't start doing until July 2013 when Rob Jennings retired (she replaced Walter who replaced Rob). WPVI hired Sharrie Williams as contributing 5pm anchor in March 2014, and she replaced Shirleen at 4pm who departed 14 months later. Gray Hall was hired in November 2015 and replaced Eva Pilgrim after she announced she was leaving a month later. So perhaps things work similarly at WABC and Shirleen's hire is a foreshadow of someone leaving in the future (a well thought out long term plan).
  21. I actually think it's a good idea. It gives him more exposure and could help attract viewers to WNT.
  22. Another departure: http://www.ftvlive.com/todays-news/2016/3/4/philly-reporter-headed-to-nyc I wonder who's going to fill in now!
  23. I think Kyla works in the background at KYW since Katie's been back. However, I believe she resides in NYC so this is probably better for her.
  24. Why the double standard for conservatives? Have all the other cohosts said who they're supporting or leaning towards?
  25. I caught a show with Paula moderating and actually enjoyed her in that role. But I agree, if Whoopi goes it's Joy's job to lose. Also of note, Meredith will have more time on her hands come May and Elisabeth has more time as of two months ago, although I think both are under contract with their respective networks.
