  1. Already mentioned on previous page of this thread about two weeks ago.
  2. I'm pretty sure Susan Barnett had gone for KYW when she was with the station.
  3. Has he been anchoring at 5 & 11 too? Add this to the fact that Kristine anchors on CBSN too.
  4. No. He's been on for other special reports.
  5. Cindy's always come off as being nice. I'm sure she is pleasant to work with and an all around good person. On the other hand Dana seems to be the complete opposite.
  6. The proper props? I'll say what no one else will say. There is nothing better about her or Dana than your average anchor. She or Dana have done nothing to improve the ratings and have been lucky they haven't been canned over the years.
  7. More likely she'll become an "eyewitness" to news on CBS3 or you can "count on it" that she'll appear on NBC10. They have anchor vacancies whereas 6ABC is "action"-packed with anchors.
  8. I think WCBS needs to hire male anchors! They've got enough females already. Also, I looked FTVLive's article about this as they reported it a month ago, but their report didn't state what newscast she was anchoring.
  9. Honored? Odd choice of words.
  10. Deemphasizing George, if true, will be a mistake. If they want to expand the roles of others, a third hour at 9am is best way to do that, with Michael and Lara at the helm, and Amy and Ginger also playing big roles. Bump Live to 10am ET.
  11. All the NBC O&Os schedules are practically identical. Philly, DC, Miami, and CT all are on east coast, and all do 11am. When LA moved thier's from noon to 11am, it was only announced on short notice. Same with Chicago back when that happen. So while it may not happen, the reasons you offer are not on point and make no sense whatsoever.
  12. Kerry Barrett also comes to mind for both positions. If the news were to move to 11am I could see the morning team (Michael/Darlene) handling it.
  13. Oz is at 1 currently. TMZ Live is at 3, leading in to Judy at 4.
  14. Guess Harry at 2pm and Divorce Court at 12:30. We lose Dish Nation repeat and Inside Edition repeat in afternoon, and Top 30 is only for summer.
  15. I suggested the move to 11am back when KNBC moved back to 11am, as that now leaves WNBC as the only NBC O&O with their midday news at noon. When I suggested, others said that it'd be a stupid move to go up against The Price Is Right and The View. I thought it would be smart because they would be the only news on at that time. As for permanent anchors, it seems that Rob is permanent Monday-Tuesday-Wednesday (he also anchors weekend evenings), and David is permanent Thursday-Friday. I could see them adding Kerry Barrett on all five days, or having her do three days (in addition to her morning duties, and possibly weekend evenings) with someone else (Natalie or Darlene perhaps) picking up the other two days.
  16. Interesting that the noon newscast uses "News at 12" instead of "News at Noon".
  17. Doesn't read right though. If you're using a different branding it should be reflected as such (it was done in the previous package). The "News" at the bottom should be dropped. Hello. That's exactly how it reads, but that is not WNBC's branding. Not sure what you're referring to with regards to WTVJ, but they use a different branding than WNBC.
  18. Could've sworn I saw the 5pm open with the peacock and "4" next to each other and "News at 5" underneath. I thought their news was branded "News 4 New York at 5" (with appropriate time). The logo made it look like it read NBC 4 News at 5. Perhaps my eyes were deceiving me.
  19. Vai and Tracy are co-anchoring at 11am. I wonder if it's just for the day and there's a reason behind it, or if it's permanent.
  20. Even though that's what they may do, I think it's overkill. How about moving Extra to one of those time slots, or more news?
  21. Great graphics. However, this video shows two big problems with CBS3: 1. I feek like Brooke Thomas tries too hard and it doesn't seem genuine. At the 0:29 second mark, her "uhhhhh" seems forced. The sad part is, she's the better anchor of the morning pair. Don't get me started on Jim. 2. Looking at both videos, Ukee and Jim are both off. Their subs: Rahel Solomon and Nicole Brewer (who by the way are both very capable anchors in their own right). This station is lacking a male bench. Ukee is their main male anchor, and the only other male is Jim, who probably belongs on weekend mornings (and that's being gracious).
  22. Rumor has it he is headed to NBC Boston. Will report nightside until his departure date a few weeks from now.
  23. Ben Simmoneau to WCVB in Boston to replace Phil Lipof at 5pm. http://www.adweek.com/tvspy/ben-simmoneau-joins-wcvb/172556
  24. Wonder who did the noon? Dana?
  25. So wait, you're now advocating ABC buying some or all of Scripps stations? What happened to your theory of Scripps buying ABC? Or is the new theory that Sinclair is buying ABC?
