  1. Tracy and Vai co-anchoring at 11am. Let the winter chaos begin!!
  2. Noticed some key personalities have had off for a day or two this week. I wonder if it's an "early" weekend in anticipation of having to work all day Saturday (as in wall-to-wall coverage).
  3. Most of the O&Os have identical schedules (particularly WABC, WPVI, KABC, and KGO, with just some shuffling). RTM/Millionaire would replace FabLife. KFSN carries Dr. Oz instead of Rachael Ray. WLS and KTRK carry the same programs with some minor differences (mainly Rachael Ray in overnights since they have one less hour of syndication).
  4. They'd also sell KFSN, but why are we going down this road?
  5. I meant a half hour of each, not a double take. Perhaps the Fox station deal expired?
  6. FabLife gone, Right This Minute to replace it on the ABC O&Os this fall (possible paired with the recently renewed Millionaire?): http://variety.com/2016/tv/news/fablife-cancelled-tyra-banks-chrissy-teigen-talk-show-1201683544/
  7. Did you not read the post you responded to? It is coming back for another season after this one. See below.
  8. I could see GAA making a comeback.
  9. I wonder if Michelle Grossman is open to coming back for one of the weekend jobs. I know she's been filling in a lot since Ted left. Is SallyAnn Mosey free?
  10. Apparently she's headed to KRON to be the weeknight meteorologist there, plus she'll be closer to home: http://www.adweek.com/tvspy/kron-hires-meteorologist-from-philadelphia/161599
  11. I'm sure NBC did offer him a better pay. I would assume for most people (not all) that they hope to one day work at the network level.
  12. Yes understandably so. But what's that have to do with all these reporters leaving?
  13. And the exodus of great reporters (and would've been good anchors) continues at CBS3: http://www.adweek.com/tvnewser/nbc-news-hires-new-network-correspondent/280679 Yup, another good one gone.
  14. Thanks. And mornings?
  15. I was under the impression he was still there under a different role.
  16. What's the current anchor line up at WAGA?
  17. Sheena's been filling in in the morning and at 11am this week, with Glenn handling all the night newscasts. In the past it's been opposite.
  18. So was Sally Jessy Raphael. And believe it or not, Jerry Springer was a normal talk show the first two seasons (with low ratings) before the format/theme change.
  19. A little disappointed to see that people still watch Maury, Wilkos, and Springer. You're not a fan of Springer? Those three programs = TrashTV.
  20. Not sure if I follow your NBC/Telemundo point. So are English-speaking people a dying breed? I also maintain that this Fox football strategy is flawed.
  21. I believe that was someone else who said it in response to Breaking News's post.
  22. Yes he did noon with Lori.
  23. Shirleen filled in over the weekend too for Joe on Saturday.
  24. Agreed this seems more likely (actually 125 minutes). The only other plausible scenario is the morning team picks up midday, and David/Shiba at 4/6 and Chuck/Sibila at 5/11. There are also rumblings that a panel show may replace Meredith.
  25. Article on Meredith's show's fate and sagging ratings for FABLife: http://pagesix.com/2015/12/26/meredith-vieiras-low-rated-show-faces-ax-despite-revamp/
