  1. GMA was always my morning show to watch, but it has turn into clown show and the same can be said with Today Show as well too. It all about $$$ folks. However, I like Robin and George, and Michael he's great at football. However, he should always do features, lighthearted stories. Also, Amy and Ginger are good people in my book. However, that Laura Spencer she an overkill with her syrupy, aww shucks annoyance. She just too much, with her syrupy-ness, and when did they bring in tables for the audience to sit in the studio? It like a nightclub at 8am and all there missing is a chandelier so Rob, or whoever can come flying in from outside Time Square.

I hate to say this, because CBS News has always skewed to an older audience, but CBS This Morning, does "Real News" well, and the three that are there do really well, and there no stunts at CBS vs. NBC & ABC. I just can't see myself watching CBS too much all the time. I had to take a break with Mika & Joe over at MSNBC, because Joe has to have the final say. I've been watching Chris & Alisyn New Day over at CNN. Not too bad, and Chris finally got to get the lime light he wanted, too bad it wasn't at ABC.

    Helmke_J.jpg

Jane Helmke announced late Friday that she was stepping down as news director of Tegna’s KARE in Minneapolis-St. Paul.

Jane’s been ND there for about 6 1/2 years and has held a wide variety of jobs during her 35 years there.

Combined into one document here for your convenience are the note to the staff from longtime KARE general manager John Remes, which included a message from Jane, and a copy of a post from Jane’s Facebook page.

Jane’s partner, Teresa, is batting cancer. We wish them both well.

  3. I think Ed's voice sounds just fine. A little deeper, perhaps. Not much different from when my station was using him in the late '80s-early '90s. Certainly not as raspy as Charlie Van Dyke.

Do you think Scott Chapin or John B.Wells has raspy voice as well?

  4. Whoever it is, (s)he should rent, not buy.

If WGCL can keep their momentum up because they beat WXIA for third place in November . They've tied with WSB at noon.Their morning EP put a message out saying their 4:30am tied with WSB for #1.

With it being a revolving door hoping the new management will keep things right and build off of that. It was time for Ben to go he can do his conspiracy theories rants on other platforms, but he had to know how the outcome was going be.

As for who sits next to Sharon Reed somebody should school management who John Bachman is and he worked at WSB TV. CBS46 has the momentum keep it going they're passing WAGA & WXIA different days on it newscast..It their time to make those money moves & stop making stupid moves.
