Let me guess, Cubs game went into extras? NDs should just record newscasts or throw in the towel in situations like that.

They do that in smaller markets. I feel like the responsibility of a top 3 market is to run a late newscast no matter how late it is. If you have to send one of the two anchors home or use substitutions for anchors or the other roles as necessary, you still want to put on a live late newscast if you're a top 3 market. 2

Even though she worked this morning, Karen could've filled in at 4 yesterday, or Cheryl could've gone solo at midnight, but Jim and Larry had worked from 4, too.

24994J 5630 Posted July 11, 2018 Author Posted July 11, 2018 He wasn't on for a few weeks, so I checked him out social media, and it seems like he went in for some abdominal pain around the 20th of June, which led to exploratory surgery. He came home just after Independence Day.
